Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature a lot of things surrounding the Spider-Man character and one of these things has to be his suits. Each Spider-Man movie has introduced us to a whole new rendition of his suits and that has added to the abilities of the character as a whole. One of the major additions was definitely the Iron-Spider suit that we got to witness in Avengers: Endgame. The character takes a costume that seems suitable to him in order to fight against a certain enemy. We saw Peter making updates to his suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home and No Way Home will not be an exception. Let’s take a look at why Spider-Man gets 2 new suits in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Well, the simple answer to this question is that new suits help in selling new merchandise. But, read on to find out the real reason for getting the new suits.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most exciting movies that will be coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year. The second trailer was being highly awaited in the last few weeks last the release date for the movie is coming up very close. We got to see a lot of exciting things in the second trailer for the movie as it features some major returning villains and at the same time some suits that had been theorized to be appearing too.
Doctor Strange is going to be a major part of the movie and his presence will be seen until the very end of the movie as shown in the trailer. While we are yet not clear how a spell from the sorcerer got botched but it is very obvious that he plans to correct what has gone wrong. It is clear that we will be getting to see the other Spider-Men but at the same time, we might also be getting a lot of Doctor Strange next to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Let’s take a look at the two new suits that Spider-Man will be seen donning in the movie and how these suits might have worked into the narrative of the movie.
The Integrated Suit (With Doctor Strange’s Powers)
We finally got to see this completely new suit in action as it was seen appearing in various merchandise surrounding the movie. It appears to be completely black and has various symbols on it that appear to be the symbols that we have seen appear around Doctor Strange. It might actually be some sort of spell that Strange might have put upon Spider-Man’s costume in order to help him out dealing with his new group of villains better.
We saw in the trailer that Peter Parker and MJ make Strange aware that the issue is actually Strange’s responsibility and that’s why he might have helped Peter out with a new costume. The powers of the costume which are seen as the circular rings appearing on his hand are similar to the rings that Doctor Strange makes. The character is seen using this suit as Electro appears in the background which might mean he will be using this costume to use against Electro.
The Red & Gold Costume
Another interesting costume in the trailer has to be the Red and Gold one that actually seems to be a combination of the costume that Peter made in Spider-Man: Far From Home and the Iron Spider costumer. This is something we see him wearing during the battle that takes place when all the villains team up together, and the mask seems to be put on instead of a nanotech one.
The reason behind this suit could be the fact that most of Peter’s nanotech from the Iron Spider suit was absorbed when he was fighting with Doctor Octopus. We see a scene where the character reveals his face just so that he can cover his chest when Doc Ock attacks him. This might mean that Peter was forced to end up integrating two suits together so that he can utilize the best of both.
