New Theory Suggests That Spider-Man 3 Trailer Won’t Arrive Until Loki Ends

Loki debuted on Disney+ recently and we all have labeled it as great. The show answers some questions and makes us question few things as well. However, Miss Minutes spoke of a Multiversal war between many different timelines for supremacy. So, if certain Nexus events like Loki stealing the Tesseract and disappearing go unchecked, it would result in timelines that are not a part of the Sacred Timeline. But what effect does it have on the future of MCU? Well, a new theory suggests that a Spider-Man 3 trailer won’t drop until Loki is over!

Spider-Man 3 Trailer Won’t Drop Before Loki’s Run Is Over On Disney+

We have only got one episode in Loki and it’s chaotic. What does this tell us? To wait and hold on to our seats. But the titular character has something to share with us. During ComicBook.com’s interview with Loki star Tom Hiddleston, Phase Zero host Brandon Davis asked the actor which episode of the series he thinks will blow fans’ minds. Hiddleston said:

That is a really good question. Basically, I think 4 or 5 for me. That’s when the show just kind of takes these big leaps forward. I’m really, really intrigued to see what people think about sort of the end of 4, beginning of 5. It’s like… yeah.

So what can Loki possibly do that will blow our minds? Well, this recent theory may just prove right speaking in regards to Loki’s character.  By the time we reach EP 4 or 5, Loki would be some sort of a hero. But we know our God of Mischief really well right? In the end, it’s not hard to imagine Loki breaking the TVA machine in an attempt to let a wild and unstable Marvel Multiverse flourish beyond their control. And we know that this could lead to a multiversal war for supremacy!

Now speaking of Spider-Man 3’s origins, we all know they suggest that Holland’s Peter Parker will encounter Spider-Men of other realities (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) to battle a Sinister Six villain team pulled from the Multiverse. This includes Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, and more which only time will tell.

Why The Trailer Will Drop After Loki

If we go by this theory, then the Spider-Man 3 trailer cannot drop before Loki is over. The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer would presumably need to drop late enough not to spoil Loki‘s twists for the viewing audience. Moreover, if the trailer drops after Loki is over, it would give a lot more credibility to Kevin Feige’s statement where he said that Loki will influence all of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But that is not it. We know that Spider-Man 3 will somehow lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And recently, we theorized that Loki has already given nods to Doctor Strange 2 as well. The conversation between Mobius and Loki suggested the welcoming of Nightmare, the ruler of the nightmare dimension. So, if Loki can somehow tie into Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange 2, then the MCU will be now interconnected more than ever.

Moreover, there’s another major hint which can lead Loki into Spider-Man 3, which applies to Doctor Strange 2 as well. I’m talking about Miss Minutes’ presentation. The mentioning of a multiversal war for supremacy perfectly blends in with the theory of Loki unleashing the chaos. What if the history of this war gave Loki an idea to unless the Marvel Multiverse? If that happens, then Spider-Man 3 will be the first to explore it. Plus, let’s not forget Strange’s cameo in the movie. So, we can believe that this cameo will further lead into the sequel, amplifying the consequences of Loki’s actions.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, and Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Eugene Cordero in undisclosed roles. The first episode is now available on Disney+.
