You’ll rarely see a superhero that lacks strength. Most of them have enhanced powers, strength, agility, or intelligence that makes them stand out from the rest. Their immense strengths are the very reason why we look up to them. Comparing them with the common man is like comparing apples with oranges. But we can surely compare superheroes amongst one another. Even though most of them are extremely strong, only a few of them fall in the top 10. Find out 10 moments when Marvel superheroes displayed the most physical strength.
1. Captain Marvel Stops Down Thanos
The Mad Titan’s powers amplified with Infinity Stones seemed impossible to beat until Captain Marvel joined the heroes. She not only explodes the Chitauri ship but comes down to physically stop Thanos from snapping again. It was followed by an intense chain of punches and strikes. Desperate, Thanos headbutted Captain Marvel but failed to even move her for an inch. Enduring a headbutt from one of the strongest villains holding the Infinity gauntlet without breaking a sweat left us jaw-dropped.
2. Spider-Man Holding The Divided Ferry
Whether it’s Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trying to halt a train or Tom Holland’s Spidey holding the two halves of a ferry with their web, they exceeded our expectation. Peter Parker had put all his might in keeping the ferry together that weighed thousands of tons. Iron Man may have saved the day but it was pretty impressive for a teen who was new with fighting such threats.
3. When Hulk Tossed Fenris Wolf
Knocking of the God of Mischief, Loki or an ordinary wolf from Earth is nothing for Hulk. But he displayed his true potential of strength when he held the giant wolf by its tail and tossed it off the stream. It was no ordinary wolf as it belonged to Asgard, had human-level intelligence, and was larger than Hulk.
4. When Professor Hulk Held The Avengers Headquarters
One would assume that Hulk’s powers got subdued after getting merged with Bruce Banner to become the cool Professor Hulk. But he cleared all the doubts by displaying both durability and strength. Even though he had survived snapping the Infinity Stones, it left him severely wounded. Yet he managed to hold the Avengers building just like he did in the comic issue of Secret Wars.
5. Thor Exposing Himself To The Star
Thor is the God of Thunder which provides him with strengths that we can’t even fathom. But we got an idea of it in Avengers: Infinity War when he traveled to Nidavellir to collect the Stormbreaker. As Eitri couldn’t forge the hammer without the heat of the star, Thor had to open the iris of the star manually which required a lot of power. He not only holds it open but also tolerates the immense heat of the star.
6. Black Panther Vs Rhino
White Rhinos are the largest of the rhino species that are featured in Wakanda. When these Rhinos went berserk, the king of Wakanda, T’Challa jumped on the field and easily tossed the rhino out of the way and wrestled it down.
7. Captain America Facing Thanos
Thanos is one of the strongest villains in the Marvel Universe who gets his powers from mutant and Eternal origin. He was almost invincible after his abilities got amplified with the Infinity Stones at the end of the Infinity War. So it was impressive to watch Captain America being able to stall him off longer than any other Avengers merely with his physical strength.
8. Hulk and Giant-Ant-Man Knocking Down Chitauri Ship
Chitauri warship or leviathans are massive beats that are cybernetically enhanced. They are used in transportation and attacks during a war. Despite its dangerous powers and weight, Hulk smashed it in The Avengers. Not only Hulk, but even the giant version of Ant-Man was pretty useful in taking down the Chitauri ship during the Endgame battle.
9. When Winter Soldier Threw Off Captain America’s Shield
This takes during the tussle between brainwashed Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The fight was fueled with adrenaline rush and thrill as both the products of super-soldiers exchange heavy strikes. We wonder at what dangerous speed Bucky threw the heavy shield that it slit the van in two parts.
10. Hulkbuster Vs Hulk
Hulkbuster’s ultimate one on one with the undefeatable Hulk is one of the most-watched videos on YouTube. Fans were delighted to watch how an armor of Hulk’s size and strength knocked him down. Hulkbuster was specially designed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner which could be used when Bruce lost his control. To our surprise, the Hulkbuster, operated by Iron Man, not only gave a fair fight but also pinned down the Hulk. Though it was a hilarious fight with Tony fast-punch, it did flaunt the tech’s strengths.
