The Title of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3 May Have Been Revealed

Spider-Man 3 is one of the most secretive Phase 4 films. While we did get a bit of information upon the likes of Shang-Chi, The Eternals, Doctor Strange 2 & Thor 4, we got to know nothing about the next Spider-Man movie. That’s because the other Phase 4 films were presented upon a panel at Comic-Con, and Spider-Man 3 was announced after Sony & Disney took a break from each other. Spider-Man: Far From Home left us on 2 major cliffhangers. One of those might be resolved with the WandaVision series, but the main cliffhanger will not be paid off until Spider-Man 3 arrives on December 17, 2021.

We don’t know anything about the next film of the Web-Slinger. It’s assumed that the world will probably turn its back on Spider-Man and he will be hunted down by villains like Kraven & Scorpion. But what will be the reaction of Peter’s friends? What will be the reaction of Aunt May? Will any other heroes step in to help Spider-Man? While all these plot-related questions are important, an even more important question is with regards to the title of the film.

Sony-Disney Fallout Plan to Hide Story of Spider-Man 3

It has been almost a year since Spider-Man 3 was confirmed for 2021, but we still don’t know the title of the movie. The working title of the film is “Serenity Now.” But the main title is not known to anyone but Marvel & Sony. We’re aware that it will follow the pattern of the previous 2 Spider-Man movies of the MCU. So, like “Homecoming” and “Far From Home,” Spider-Man 3 will also have “Home” in its title.

Since Spider-Man will presumably be on the run, rumors have suggested that the next movie might be called Spider-Man: Homerun. But a new tweet from Atlanta Filming have disproved the “Homerun” title theory. Since most superhero movies are filmed in Atlanta, Atlanta Filming usually comes up with the latest scoops and information that they gather from the sets of various Marvel Studios projects. Their scoops turn out to be correct most of the time. It’s unfortunate that this twitter handle is private, and doesn’t accept the follow requests of everyone (including mine). But anyway, we’ve got Youtube channels like The Cosmic Wonder that report whatever this handle tweet.

Spider-Man 3 Main Villain Revealed

And here’s what Atlanta Filming wrote in its latest tweet (via The Cosmic Wonder):

“It looks like Spider-man is Home-Safe though. So, if that Spidey, it’s going to be a caper movie, I guess. But won’t know if that is Spidey until next week.”

Spider-Man 3 Plot Leak Tells Dark Tale For Peter

According to this tweet, the next Spidey movie might just be titled Spider-Man: Home-Safe. Furthermore, the twitter handle presumes that the “Home-Safe” would actually be a caper movie. Caper movies are those films where we usually follow the protagonists committing some sort of a crime, or maybe pulling off a heist. Ocean’s 11 for instance is a caper movie. Now You See Me is a caper movie. And that makes things interesting for Spider-Man 3.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Theory Mysterio

Warren from The Cosmic Wonder further suggests a theory that in “Home-Safe,” Spider-Man might find out that Mysterio is working for Norman Osborn, who is indeed the mystery buyer of the Avengers tower. So, Spider-Man might have to break into some sort of a “safe” in the Oscorp tower (the old Avengers tower) and find evidence for Mysterio’s villainy. That way, he might be able to prove his innocence in the eyes of the world. This is how the plot might justify the “Home-Safe” title which means that Spider-Man will ultimately be back to his home safely, and will also have to pull off a heist. If it’s a heist movie, then doesn’t that call for Ant-Man’s involvement? Anyway, Atlanta Filming has promised that if Home-Safe is the title, then we’d surely know of it by the next week.

What do you think of Home-Safe as a title? Is it fitting or should we have a different title? Tell us your opinion in the comments.
