Hugh Jackman & Ryan Reynolds Celebrate Logan’s 3 Year Anniversary in the Best Way

Another day, another moment to rejoice the funny banter between Hugh Jackman & Ryan Reynolds. These two individuals don’t leave a single chance at pulling each other’s leg! They do exactly what young siblings do it each other. It isn’t just a marketing tool that they follow. Sometimes it’s scripted, sometimes they do it out of their wits and will. But whatever it is, we absolutely love it. The most recent moment of leg pulling has arrived with Logan’s 3 year anniversary.

On March 3, 2017, Logan made its way to the theatres. People fell in love with the movie right from the beginning. It was Hugh Jackman’s heartfelt good bye to the character and he left us all in tears with his final movie. Giving the film an R-Rating totally worked for the character and the story as we got to see a dark, gritty & an emotional end to Professor X & Logan. The movie wasn’t as plot heavy, but still it came so close to our hearts because we got exactly what we wanted – brutal & gory action sequences, Wolverine’s trademark berserker rage mixed with heavy emotions, and a pay-off to 17 years of awesomeness!

It has been 3 years since Logan arrived, and Hugh Jackman celebrated the 3rd anniversary of Logan with the fans, sharing a heartfelt message along with a never seen before photoshoot of Logan. What you can see above are 7 new photos of Hugh Jackman in his Logan get up. Along with the photos, he wrote:

“3 years ago, on this day, LOGAN was released. Thank you for the many (and I really mean MANY) years of sweat, steamed chicken and the role of a lifetime! #thankful #Wolverine #xmen #Logan”

And along with the chunky meat sandwich that Jackman gave us, we get an amazing dip to savor it from our very own Ryan Reynolds. He shares a parody video of the way Logan died and pays his respect in the “Deadpool” way. Jackman replied:

God knows that we want to see this banter continue on the big screen with Jackman’s Wolverine & Reynolds’ Deadpool squashing their beef in front of the world. But Jackman’s consistent his “the ship has sailed for me” motto despite the continuous attempts of getting a Wolverine & Deadpool movie off the ground. Who knows, perhaps it might happen once in the MCU. We’ll have to wait and see if it does.

Wolverine was the role of the lifetime for Hugh Jackman. In an interview last year, Jackman said:

“I was told that things weren’t really working out as they hoped. I was about to get fired from my first Hollywood movie – the biggest of my career. I was angry, I went home to my wife and I complained. I was whinging an Olympic level of whinging to Deb, my wife, and moaning about this person and that person. She listened to me very patiently for about an hour and finally she just said, ‘Listen, I think you have just got to trust yourself. You are worrying way too much about what everything else is thinking. Just go back to the character, focus on that, trust your instinct… you’ve got this.’ To me that was love. Someone that believes in you when you don’t fully believe in yourself.”

Can you believe it? Jackman was about to be pushed out of the role. We would’ve never got Logan if that would’ve happened. We’re glad that it didn’t. Logan was a very special film. Now, we’re ready for a new Wolverine if Jackman doesn’t want to return one more time. This time, we might get to see a short heighted Wolverine in a Yellow suit. Who do you think it should be? Tell us in the comments.
