The Matrix 4 Set Video:
The Matrix 4 has already begun production. Keanu Reeves seems to have a very packed schedule. Just a little while back he finished shooting Bill & Ted 3. He is currently shooting The Matrix 4 and then he’d go on to shoot John Wick: Chapter 4. These are his next 3 upcoming movies and The Matrix 4 has to be the most exciting one of the 3. Reeves is returning to the franchise after almost 18 years. And it’s not just him who is returning. Fans are excited for Trinity’s (Carrie-Anne Moss) return as well. In fact, we’ve got a new revelation from the sets which seemingly reveal Trinity’s Neo-Like Powers. Take a look:
Neo and Trinity jump off a building in San Fancisco. Now obviously this would be stunt doubles as not everyone is Tom Cruise crazy. But the big takeaway from this video is that Trinity can also do the superman thing now. The fans are going to be very confused having seen this. Firstly, the confusions resided upon how Trinity will be making her return if she had died in The Matrix: Revolutions. Then we got a few answers upon the casting of a young Morpheus, meaning that this 4th installment might reveal flashbacks from the time before the first Matrix movie. So Trinity could return in those sequences.
But this set video shows Trinity alongside Neo and she seemingly has Neo-like powers inside the Matrix. If Trinity could fly in a past sequence, then why did she not fly in the last 3 films? There’s a lot going on here that we won’t understand until the first trailer of this film arrives. Perhaps this chapter of the Matrix might be going to Time Travel as well. That’s how Trinity may’ve returned somehow. We’ll have to wait and find out.

What you see above is another set video that made its way onto the internet a little while back. We see director Lana Wachowski on the set as well. It’s nice to see that Keanu Reeves will get to keep his long hair bearded persona for the Matrix and we’re not getting the same look that he had for Neo during the original trilogy. The Matrix is a film that revolutionized the use of special effects and practical action in Hollywood. It actually changed the game for the next two decades, and that’s why it is hailed as a classic. Not just the fighting, but we got an insane motorbike sequence in The Matrix: Reloaded and that has still not been topped by any film till date.
Now that there have been some great improvements in the Visual Effects department since The Matrix 3 came out, we’re hoping The Matrix 4 to be a class apart from any of the previous 3 films. The creatives could do a lot of new things and go crazy action sequences of the new film. Keanu Reeves described the script of The Matrix 4 to be “very ambitious”. The film comes out on May 21, 2021. It will go head to head with another 4th installment that Keanu Reeves will star in – John Wick: Chapter 4. We don’t know whether that’s the smartest idea or the dumbest, but let’s see what happens.
