There are a lot of Historical TV shows out there, but the Last Kingdom is something special. You will connect with the main characters instantly and you’ll be hooked till the end. The show is brilliantly written and the acting is amazing as well. It is a shame that there are so many people out there who do not know about this gem.

The Blacklist is one of the most exciting Crime Dramas out there currently as it is filled with twists and turns. The story centers around a Criminal Mastermind named Raymond Reddington played by the amazing James Spader. His voice and acting is a gift for any viewer. This show deserves to be a lot more popular.

Set in a Post-Apocalyptic world where the world has been destroyed after a nuclear war, The 100 has a very unique and exciting storyline. The show has a rare quality, it gets better with every season and the best thing about the show is that there are hardly any plot-holes, which is a common case in other Sci-fi shows. Do not ignore this show for being a ‘teen drama’.
#7: Outlander (2014-)
This show is a treat for the book lovers as it is a very accurate adaptation of the source material. The show will keep you completely invested in the storyline. It is about a WW2 nurse who somehow gets sent back nearly 200 years into a violent era in Scotland. The show has the right amount of romance and violence to keep you going.
#6: Lucifer (2015-)
Lucifer is a show that will make you feel sympathy for the Devil but it does not disrespect any religion or anyone’s beliefs. Fox Studios wimped out and canceled the show after three seasons but the fans saved the show by starting an online movement in favor of the show. We just wish that the show becomes more popular as Netflix is doing a better job than Fox.

Ragnar Lothbrok is one of the most amazing characters of all time and this show tells his story. The Vikings have a very rich history and this show portrays that history in the most amazing fashion. The show does not hold back one bit in terms of violence and gore. Even though some liberties were taken, it is true for the most part.
#4: Ozark (2017-)
Ozark has been under the radar since the beginning and it is about time more people discover this show. You won’t be able to stop once you start this show. The show is about a Financial planner who gets tangled with some bad people and now has to fight to save his family. The intensity of this show is off the charts and you should definitely watch this if you haven’t already.
#3: Altered Carbon (2018-)
This show is an absolute Godsend for fans who love the Cyberpunk genre. It is one of the best sci-fi shows currently on air. The acting, music, and CGI are spot on. The production quality is amazing as it feels like a movie and not a TV show. It feels a lot like the movie Blade Runner. If you are a Sci-fi fan then watch this show without wasting any time.
#2: Mindhunter (2017-)
Mindhunter is a suspenseful and thrilling drama about the origins of Criminal psychology at the FBI. Made by the visionary David Fincher, Mindhunter is everything you want a psychological thriller to be. It is a very intelligent show that does not compromise on the quality one bit.

Peaky Blinders is without a doubt one of the best shows on television currently. The show is of top quality and you’ll witness one of the best acting performances of Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby in this show. The show is on par with the greatest TV shows and it is a must watch.
