Crisis on Infinite Earths May’ve Solved DCEU’s Biggest Problem

Crisis on Infinite Earths was a great event as far as the cameos are concerned. These cameos were genius. Connecting Ezra Miller’s Flash for instance was quite an amazing move. The DCEU got connected to the Arrowverse in the best way possible. But apart from the cameos, the one thing that this crossover did well was fix the problems of every earth, & possibly even the DCEU.

Starting a new multiverse altogether, the heroes of the Arrowverse somehow brought their Earths together. The Earths of Supergirl, Flash & Black Lightning became one. The Earth of Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come was fixed. So, what if this also solved the biggest problem of the DCEU, i.e. fixing the absence of Superman & Batman.

Henry Cavill is more or less out as Superman. Ben Affleck has already confirmed his exit from the DCEU. Shazam! was proof of the fact that WB doesn’t want to bring Henry Cavill back. And, we’ve heard rumors that WB is planning to bring Robert Pattinson’s Batman into the DCEU somehow. Well, the groundwork for that may’ve been laid down in the Crisis event. If the Crisis event turned Supergirl’s Earth & Flash’s Earth into one, then it could also turn the DCEU & Robert Pattinson’s Earth into one.

That means, suddenly Robert Pattinson’s Batman could appear in the DCEU because of the Crisis event. This would make sense, but only to those who have seen the Crisis Event on the CW. But, there are a lot of people who don’t watch the CW shows but might end up watching the DCEU films. For them, things would become very confusing. So, WB won’t resort to this solution to fix their DCEU problem even though it would make sense. What they could do is change things with Flashpoint.

Why Marvel TV Can Never Catch up to DC TV

Ezra Millers’ cameo was so great. Since the Flash (Miller) is connected to the speed force, he was actually able to exist outside of the physical world as well. And this cameo actually teases the fact that Ezra Miller’s Flash needs to learn a lot about the Speed Force, Time Travel & the Multiverse. In fact the cameo actually gives Barry (Miller) the idea of his superhero persona, i.e. “The Flash”.

Barry wasn’t named the Flash in Justice League. And, now that we know about the upcoming Flash movie finally being under development, Barry learns about his Flash title from his cameo, and that’s how it might stick. Moreover, we heard Barry being completely clueless about what was going on. This adventure that he has had with the Flash of another world would actually lead him to discover about the Multiverse, and time travel. The cameo might even lead to a change of suit for Ezra Miller.

Since Barry is going to learn about Time Travel through this cameo, we can assume that this is also the reason why the Flashpoint would happen in the upcoming Flash movie. Andy Muschietti told to ThatHashtagShow that we will be seeing a “different version of Flashpoint than you’re expecting.”  So, the upcoming Flash movie is going to involve Flashpoint in a way that we won’t predict, which means Robert Pattinson’s Batman could be incorporated into the DCEU through this. Moreover, we could have a new face of Superman as well. Recasting Henry Cavill might become easy for WB. And this way a new Justice League could be formed.
