Avengers: Endgame would have fallen about $30 Million short of Avatar if there wasn’t any external aid similar to what Avatar got. Avatar got a rerelease and made about $40 Million more. Avengers: Endgame with $2.750 Billion worldwide has already beaten the original numbers of Avatar. Now Marvel has decided to level the plains and to make Avengers: Endgame the highest grossing Box Office movie of all time, they are giving it the platform to take Avatar down once and for all.
Disney hasn’t made any official announcement upon the Re-Release of Avengers: Endgame, but we’ve heard it from the Boss Man himself. Kevin Feige told the world last week that Avengers: Endgame is going to get another release in the following weekend, and this time the people are going to get some extra footage to cherish at the end of the film.
Here’s what he said:
“We are doing that. I don’t know if it’s been announced. And I don’t know how much… Yeah, we’re doing it next weekend.
Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
Well, as far as this extra footage is concerned, we don’t really know what it’s going to be. What we do know is that it is going to be 6-7 minutes long, and will come up after the movie ends. Now, according to MCU Cosmic, we have got some info upon what we should expect from the film. Apparently, the next release of Endgame coming out this weekend will include a deleted scene, a Stan Lee tribute, and a “short tease” for Spider-Man: Far From Home. As for the deleted scene, all we know is that Mark Ruffalo’s big green lovable monster, is going to be involved.
The Hulk has a bigger future in the MCU, and this deleted scene could tease that future. So, let’s just hope that we do get to know about the direction that the MCU is going to take Hulk in. And for Spider-Man: Far From Home, it could literally be anything. It could be a deleted scene from the upcoming movie that perfectly manages to tease Spider-Man 2 and build hype for it.
Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, William Hurt as General Ross, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One and Josh Brolin as Thanos.
Here’s the synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:
“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
