Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer 2 Has Arrived & It’s Beyond Amazing

Now, that we are done with more than 2 weekends of Avengers: Endgame, it was the perfect time for us to move on to the next step of the MCU. Sony has released the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer 2 at a perfect time as most of the world has already seen Avengers: Endgame, and they certainly would be ready for what’s about to follow it. The footage begins with a major spoiler warning for people who still haven’t seen Endgame. So for those people, you should click away right now. Here’s the second trailer:

The trailer starts with Peter dealing with the fact that Tony Stark is no more! Seeing him cry really breaks our heart in that one little moment. But moving on, he’s still being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, or rather the Iron Spider-Man, since he’s still got his Infinity War and Endgame Iron Spider-Man suit. Watching the previous trailer, we were all wondering where did this suit go, and now we know that it was hidden for preventing spoilers.

Pete obviously leaves that suit behind as he goes on vacation, taking a bit of a break from his life in Queens, New York. We find out that Nick Fury has been trying to contact him, and then we see him recruit Peter for a job that he is working with Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio. Now, this is where things get crazier. This is what the story of this film hinges upon.

Right when Peter meets Beck for the first time, he tells him “I could have used someone like you on my world.” To follow that, Fury explains to Peter that he is actually from a different Earth as “The Snap” tore a hole in their dimension. Now we aren’t told who’s snap was responsible for that, but given that Beck only arrives now, we could assume that it was either Hulk’s snap or Tony’s. But the most important part of this information, as Peter says is that there’s a Multiverse in the MCU.

Now we know why Spider-Man: Far From Home is the last movie of Phase 3. Avengers: Endgame introduced us with alternate timelines and Spider-Man: Far From Home takes us to a brief tour of the Multiverse. We could be getting our own live-action Spider-verse which is totally different from the one that we saw in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Moreover, this multiverse thing could actually connect Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters, i.e. the Venomverse with the MCU as well!

Moving forward, the MCU is going to grow much bigger. Now coming back to the trailer, this is as far as the trailer takes us telling about Mysterio’s backstory. The good thing is that there’s a whole lot of movie that we still haven’t seen. Sandman, Molten Man and Hydroman return. We get to see Numan Acar’s character who could probably be playing MCU’s Chameleon, and another big takeaway was the tease of MJ knowing about Peter Parker’s true identity, i.e. Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer 2

This trailer beats around the bush that Peter will now be looking to take on the responsibility of being the new Iron Man, but by the end of the film, he is going to realize that there can only be one Iron Man in this Universe, and there can only be one Peter Parker. So he will be the best version of himself. The trailer ends with a fun gag, and this film also seems to be a whole lot of fun!
