Avengers: Endgame Writers Reveal Whether Mutants Were Created By The Snap

Avengers: Endgame brought in a lot of questions from the fans on the table, and most of them were centered around the snap done in the film. There are a lot of theories running on the internet signaling towards the birth of mutants through the radiation caused by the snap. Above all, it has been confirmed by the brand new trailer of Spider-Man: Far From Home that multiverse has made its way into the MCU and now, many are saying that Gamma radiation too could make way for the incoming of mutants in the MCU.

The Hollywood Reporter asked the same question to the writers of Avengers: Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and, Markus said,

“I do think that whenever Kevin decides to do X-Men or Fantastic Four. It won’t be how you think it’s going to happen. I think he’s going to have a real clever version of it.”

We all want to see X-Men in the MCU at the earliest, but maybe we will have to be patient because there are a lot of movies in the line. Projects like The Eternals, Black Widow, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2, and many more are on the way for Phase 4. The writers also expressed their interest in the characters of X-Men and Christopher Markus talked about his desire to work on Scott Summers’ character in a film. While talking to ComicBook.com, he said,

“I mean, I’d love to try some different things with these new characters they’re getting from Fox. I’ve always thought, ‘Yeah, you could make Cyclops into a real hero, as opposed to a kind of punching bag.’ And there are a few others, deep canon, who I wouldn’t mind rolling out.”

Well, we can only wait for the X-Men to make an entry in the MCU but we’re sure we will get some update soon.
