It’s been a while since we’ve done an Avengers: Endgame theory. Most of those that we did were trying to predict what exactly is going to happen in the film. But now we’ve got new ones coming in which relate to the events that actually happened in the movie. The creatives left us with a sort of open ending, where we could theorize a whole lot about Captain America’s life in the alternate timeline, and roughly anything could be true. But there were some elements, in between the film, that have spawned some cool theories as well.
A new theory that has come into light talks about the Hulk and his snap. Apparently the Hulk, or we should say the Smart Hulk was brought into this film mainly for the Snap that brought back all the individuals that fell victims to Thanos’ snap. Just as Hulk said, “it’s like I was made for this.” Yes, he was totally made for that but people were upset that he was just in there for that. He didn’t even get featured in the final battle properly. Well, the good thing is that he isn’t completely done with the MCU since he survived Endgame. So we could surely get some more of him.
But we can only imagine that there could have been certain Hulk moments that were cut from the film to fix certain pacing issues. Apparently, there were but we cannot know for sure. But there’s this new theory that has emerged which totally makes sense. Hulk snapped his fingers wearing the Nano Infinity Gauntlet and he brought everyone back. He said that he tried so hard to bring Natasha back as well, but her death was permanent since her soul was exchanged for the Soul Stone.
So the theory says that right after the Snap, Hulk met Natasha in the Soul World. We saw Thanos meet baby Gamora in the Soul World when he snapped in Infinity War. Gamora was the person he loved the most hence he got a one on one with her. So perhaps it would only make sense for Hulk to get a one on one with Natasha. Even Tony would have met the person he loved the most in a deleted scene, and that is an older version of his daughter. So, Hulk meeting Nat and telling her they were successful is a possibility. Remember that Gamora and Natasha were both Soul Stone trades, so they certainly could appear in the Soul World.
This is the question that the fans should answer the MCU creatives in their next interview/Q&A. There may be a possibility that this scene was shot, but removed since it wouldn’t have fit in properly. Only the writers, directors and Kevin Feige would know.
