With major focus on Avengers: Endgame, there are very few projects which are still breathing on the internet. One of those is the Black Widow movie whose casting is in full throttle right now. The latest reports from Deadline have made their way online suggesting and confirming that O-T Fegbenle is going to be in the movie. He got a lot of attention for his role of Luke Bankole in Handmaid’s Tale.
But, we don’t know what role he is going to play which I think is quite normal because most of the things about this film are under heavy wraps. There have been rumors circling around that this actor could potentially play the character of a very mysterious, dangerous, and tough villain, as earlier, it was reported that a Black British or an African actor would be cast to play the villain in the movie.
There are a lot of expectations from this one because Black Widow is one of the characters who has been in there since the very beginning. So, having a movie based on the origin of the Black Widow should be full of thrill and revenge. Also, we are going to see stars like David Harbour, Rachael Weisz, and Florence Pugh in the film. But, nothing has been revealed about the roles of all these stars so far.
Scarlett Johansson is pretty excited about this film because she has portrayed this character on-screen for a very long time. In an interview, she said,
“It’s such a loaded question. Yes, I would want to in the right context and for the film to fit where I’m at, where I am in my life. I mean I’ve played this character for a long time. It’s been probably like 8 years or more, and so much has happened in my life, my life as a performer and happened in my life personally.”
