Godzilla 2 Teaser Trailer And 5-Minute Original Footage Released Online

Godzilla 2 Teaser Trailer –

When Legendary Entertainment announced that they were making a Godzilla reboot in 2012, we were all stumped and wanted the Studio to stop. The Hollywood movie-making machine is notorious for taking Asian tropes and white-washing the entire thing to make a white themed, “America is the center of the World” kind of movie. Godzilla is strictly a Japanese invention. That must be respected at all costs. Nevertheless, Godzilla released a few years later and even though the white-washing was evident, at least the story was good enough this time. And the fan-following for the Monster-Verse is only growing higher and higher as the world braced itself for Kong: Skull Island released a few years after Godzilla.

The video reveals how humans realize that they need to aid Godzilla in defeating the new monsters that have now threatened humanity with mass extinction. Here is the video we are talking about:

We can assure you one thing though – Godzilla is not alone in this fight. The greatest threat this time is definitely King Ghidorah, a monster that has actually defeated Godzilla multiple times in the past in one on one matches. To level the playing field, Godzilla is supposedly reinforced by all the three remaining monsters – Rodan, Mothra, and Kumonga. We will know for sure when the movie hits the screens.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is not the only Monster Kaiju movie you need to drool over. The Studio claims that it is already planning to produce a Mothra movie and a Kong vs. Godzilla movie. There is also talks of a third Godzilla movie and a second Kong movie is also in the works. The future looks bright for the King of Monsters.

The Japanese Kaiju trope is in good hands now. Let us hope they do not make the white-washing and the addition of cultural stereotypes that have always been born in western movies, any more prevalent than it already is. Here’s to the King of Monsters. All Hail the King!!!
