24 days left until we get to see the movie of the decade. Avengers: Endgame is going to bring about the end of the MCU as we know it. The good thing about this film is that it will feature the original 6 Avengers more than anyone. Sure, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Rocket, and others may have a substantial role in the film, but the 6 Avengers will get the most to do.
Talking about the 6, Infinity War obviously didn’t do justice to all the characters since there was so much to unravel. Thor and Iron Man were the only ones who got major story arcs and the likes of Captain America & Black Widow were substantially reduced. Hulk had to stay in due to his inner battle, and Hawkeye only had his name tossed into the film.
This film will bring Hawkeye back as Ronin, and he’s gonna have his own subplot. Captain America will have an extended role, and Iron Man is obviously going to be the most important part of the film. The reason I’m talking about these three individuals is because it is highly likely that this will be the last MCU appearance for all three of them. Moreover, we’ve got new S.H. Figuarts action figures which offer us almost as detailed of a look, as the Hot Toys do. Take a look at all three of them:
Hawkeye is now going to take up the mantle of Ronin as he will be on the darker path of seeking answers and revenge due to his family becoming a victim to the snap.
Here’s the brand new comic-inspired suit of Captain America. The Russos have confirmed that this film will make up for the Captain America fans who were disappointed for him in Infinity War. He will be getting a major role to play, and the entire world suspects him to bite the dust!
Here’s the brand new Mark LXXXV Iron Man armor which has been truly inspired by the comics, adding more Gold into the NanoTech Mark 50 Armor. Tony Stark will have the most important role to play in Endgame because Doctor Strange strictly wanted him to survive against Thanos, having seen how important he will be to the plot of Endgame. Moreover, his Age of Ultron vision also has to be paid off. He may end up surviving Endgame, as Marvel would want to end the film on a bittersweet note after Captain America dies.
Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame will open on April 26, and it’ll presumably star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tessa Thompson, Evangeline Lilly, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine Langford, Stellan Skarsgard, Ava Russo and Brie Larson.
Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:
“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
