Marvel gave us some brand new footage as they began selling the tickets to Avengers: Endgame in the US. It came as a major surprise to everyone as they really launched the trailer right in the morning. Well, all we’d say that we always appreciate such major surprises. This 1-minute teaser gave us so much awesomeness that we were all left really overwhelmed. It solved many mysteries and satisfied our hunger by showing us some major reunions. There were a lot of cool scenes but the best moment of the trailer came with the Tony Stark and Steve Rogers reunion moment.
“Do you trust me?????? I do!” and then came the handshake that we’ve all wanted to see for the last 3 years. Cap and Tony are on the same page working together. This is obviously not the first time Steve and Tony were meeting in the film as Tony’s reunion with Pepper confirmed that he makes his way back to the Avengers facility; and the shot from the Super Bowl TV Spot where Steve, Natasha, Bruce, and Rhodey walked out of the compound looking at something arriving from the sky was them witnessing Tony’s return.
So Tony didn’t just meet Pepper there, he also met with Natasha, Rhodey, Banner, Steve and any other character that was removed from the shot using CGI (Carol, Thor, Rocket & probably even Scott). Rocket meets up with Nebula around the same setting so that clearly meant that Rocket was also supposed to be in that scene of missing characters. This was another heartfelt moment for us as here’s when Nebula might have told Rocket about the death of all the Guardians.
Nevertheless, we’re still happy to see Steve and Tony back together. They were the two leaders of the group and without them, the Avengers weren’t a team anymore! But now they are, that’s where Thanos is at a major disadvantage. Well, this was a great moment but we have to remember that this is a Marvel trailer and there has to be a whole lot of CGI trickery. One of the big trick moments also seems to have come in the Cap and Tony Stark sequence.
If you remember these Set photos that came out last year, you’d know that Cap is supposed to be wearing his Avengers suit in one of the battle sequences which looks to be taking place in New York. Tony had white hair in the photo and was wearing a blue SHIELD outfit. In his handshake moment with Captain America, he has the same hair color and outfit which he does in the above show set photo. So, has Marvel added this new Captain America suit through CGI to hide Time Travel.
Another amazing fact about Cap’s suit here is that it does have scales from upon the Shoulders, but what it doesn’t have is the Star Insignia, and it is even ripped from the same chest position, where Cap’s Infinity War suit was torn from. So this is extremely confusing, and that’s only because this scene lies to us. There’s a lot of debris in the back as well. So, we could bet our money upon the fact that this is one of the very few moments trailer taking place in the past.
