New Empire Exclusive Potentially Confirms Dusted Avengers are Present in The Quantum Realm

Dusted Avengers –

Avengers: Endgame is going to arrive in just about a month and we don’t know what we should expect from the movie except for a few things that were shown in the trailer. The creatives behind this film have been extra sneaky as the Russos and Kevin Feige want to keep us in the dark for everything that’s going to happen in the film. That is why the trailers have actually included a lot of the scenes from the previous movies instead of an actual new footage. But a major new update has come in as a courtesy of the new Empire Magazine Avengers: Endgame Exclusive.

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

This Exclusive has revealed quite a lot of details that we either knew or expected, but one interesting aspect of the article they’ve published talks about the dead heroes and the Quantum Realm. This article talks about how we know that Scott Lang got out of the Quantum Realm due to the Avengers: Endgame trailers. There was the Time Vortex mention in the Mid Credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp, and that is what’s being hinted here. But the next part of the article may have potentially spoiled, how the dead Avengers could return.

Spoiler Alert. Proceed at your own risk.

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

Here’s what the article says:

“These time vortexes and the Quantum Realm, could end up being major players in the fight to stick Thanos Infinity Gauntlet where the sun don’t shine. Endgame could involve a fair amount of time travel, with the original Avengers and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man embarking on a desperate quest to key moments from the Avengers’ history, possibly to alter events that lead to Thanos getting the stones. Think Back To The Future Part II, but with superheroes.

As for the Quantum Realm, well, what if those who were dusted didn’t die? What if they were, instead, stored in the Soul Stone, the most important of all of Thanos’ designer jewellery? And what if there was a way to get them back by infiltrating the Stone via the Quantum Realm?

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

Well, that literally is a whole lot of info coming from a Marvel approved source. Reading this article, you have to keep in mind that each and every word that it says has been approved by Marvel’s publicity and Marketing team. Things must have been passed through the Russos and Kevin Feige as Empire cannot write and publish anything they want to.

So keeping that in mind, this article teases something huge. Not only does it tease the various adventures involving time travel, but it actually talks about the Avengers who got dusted. It poses everything as a “What if” scenario teasing that the dusted characters could have actually been transferred into the Soul Stone (in the Soul World) and there could be a way to bring them back through the Quantum Realm.

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

Well, this could be taken in two ways. Let’s discuss the first one. All of this does make quite a lot of sense because it falls in sync with the Mid Credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp. At the moment when the Snap takes place and people throughout the Universe start to disintegrate, Scott Lang is present in the Quantum Realm. He isn’t pulled out because his fellow compadres, the Pym family have also turned to dust. So at this very moment, we see orange dots of light revolve around Ant-Man as he tries to contact his friends.

These dots are believed to be the souls of snap victims getting slowly transferred to the Soul Stone. Back in Thor: The Dark World, when the movie plays at 30:28, there’s a conversation between Jane Foster and an Asgardian Doctor that tells us that the function of a soul forge is similar to that of a quantum field generator, so the Soul Stone, and in fact the souls of the snap victims are related to the Quantum Realm.

So far we know absolutely nothing about the Soul Stone except for the fact that it takes a major sacrifice from someone who wishes to acquire it, and that it holds a “Special Place” amongst all of the other Infinity Stones. With Red Skull talking about this special place, we all thought that the Soul Stone is actually the special one amongst the 6. But there could actually be a deeper meaning to this word play. What if this “Special Place” is actually a literal place, i.e. The Soul World?

That would make everything mentioned in Empire’s article a lot more sensible. The conclusion here would be that the dusted Avengers are actually present in the Soul World, inside the Soul Stone and that would be accessible through the Quantum Realm. Marvel is a fictional Universe where Science and Magic co-exist. Here magic is just the science that hasn’t been proven yet, whereas, on places like Asgard, Magic and Science are the same thing. So, the bottom line is, that the Avengers could actually be trying to get the dusted people back through the Quantum Realm, and not reverse the snap itself. Or they could be trying both the things at the same time, in case only one of them works.

Now the second way in which the Empire article could be interpreted is that everything that’s being said here is nothing but Bullsh*t in order to derail us from knowing what the actual deal is. Marvel has gone to extreme lengths in order to prevent spoilers of the film, and them giving away this intricate plotting through an article that will actually be read by Millions of people seems too convenient. After working so hard at hiding the plot of the film, how can Marvel reveal it through a bunch of what if scenarios? All this actually makes us think that this is Marvel trying to feed us what we already have an idea about.

But there are many reasons for us to believe that what’s being suggested here isn’t utter garbage. It is coming from a majorly known company who will not print utter non-sense. As mentioned above, what they’ve published actually makes quite a lot of sense, and another evidence of the dusted characters being in the Soul World is the comics.

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

Directors Joe & Anthony Russo have taken great inspirations from Jim Starlin’s ‘The Infinity Gauntlet,’ and in that storyline, every character who disappeared from the face of the Universe as a result of the snap was transferred into the Soul World. There was no connection to it with the Microverse (The Quantum Realm in the MCU), and that is what the Russos and Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely could have changed.

Dusted Avengers Quantum Realm

From what we’ve discussed above, the Quantum Realm and the Soul Stone (Soul World) have clear connections to each other. This connection could be explained in Avengers: Endgame as we are yet to know the many intricate details about Soul Stone in particular. This has also been supported by The Cosmic Wonder’s Warren and seems to be the potential outline of the Avengers: Endgame plot.

Rest we’d only know for sure once Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26. Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame will presumably star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tessa Thompson, Evangeline Lilly, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine Langford, Stellan Skarsgard and Brie Larson.
