10. Splitting the last book into 2 movies:
After Harry Potter, a lot of movie franchises started splitting the last book into two movies even though most of them weren’t able to pull it off. The Deathly Hallows is a vast book with so much going on that making it into just one movie seems impossible. It was a good decision to turn it into 2 films and it also helped in setting the tone better.
9. Harry and Hermione dancing:
This scene was completely original and wasn’t in the book. It portrayed the strong friendship and bond between Harry and Hermione. The scene was also important to lighten the tone of the movie which is otherwise heavy and dark. The scene is lighthearted and entertaining to watch.

The tale of three brothers was one of the highlights of the movie and the animated sequence was simply brilliant. Ben Hibon was the director of the sequence, collaborating very closely with director David Yates over the course of six months to develop the three-minute animation and it was totally worth it.
6. The Seven Potters:
Remember the scene from Deathly Hallows part 1 where the order took the polyjuice potion to transform into Harry? As a result, we had seven Harry Potters in that scene and it was a very funny scene. That one scene took two days to film and was very complex. Radcliffe revealed it was exhausting and took 90 takes for each Potter and tremendous observation on his part.

In the epilogue scene, we see Draco and his wife sending their son Scorpius to Hogwarts and most people don’t know that the woman playing Draco’s wife Astoria in this scene was actually Tom Felton’s girlfriend of the time Jade Gordon. Tom convinced her to appear in the scene as his wife Astoria Greengrass and she agreed.
4. Recreation of Gringotts:
As we all know that the last movie features the wizard bank as the trio breaks into Bellatrix’s vault to find a horcrux. Gringotts earlier appeared in the first movie and to recreate it, the creative department had to dig out old props and the scales and desks that were used by the goblin bank tellers. The desks were given a fresh paint job and were somewhat redesigned to have a more elegant look. It felt like the story went full circle with these minute details.
