We all are excited for the Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds and you’ll get more excited when I’ll tell you that Supergirl is going to be in a kind of a fun dilemma between Oliver and Barry in the show because of the exciting things we are going to witness in this one. With a lot of villains also coming in this one, we are really excited and amazed by all these.
We all know that Oliver Queen and Barry Allen are going to play a major role in this crossover because of the situation they’re in as their bodies simply got swapped and the reason behind this will be revealed in the show of course.
Also, we are going to have Superman in his popular Black costume as we have seen this black suit a lot of times in the comics and we are really glad to see making its way into the show. With all the major superheroes getting something major in their hands, how can we think that they’ll not give Supergirl something in the crossover?
So, Supergirl is going to be the one to whom both Barry and Oliver will go in order to ask for some help and she would be the only one in the whole show who’d recognize them for what they are right now in this crossover and her reaction and the conversation that will follow would be really funny.
We can simply imagine the scenario, both Oliver and Barry walking their way in front of Supergirl and the moment she’ll see them, she will start having fun with them as she’d be really amazed by the swap and this has been stated and revealed by none other than the actress, Melissa Benoist.
The young actress revealed all of this while she was on set and we have to admit that the actress has portrayed the role of Supergirl tremendously in all these years. The statement she gave is down below:
“What I liked the most about this year’s crossover, I think, more than any other crossover that we’ve done so far — aside from the musical episode, which was my favorite; I had so much fun doing that one — but this one was so fun in particular because it really was the triad, so to speak, the three of us,” Melissa Benoist explained all of this during a set visit where she was asked about the crossover and she added that. “Kara plays a really fun role in this dilemma that Barry and Oliver find themselves in. She’s the only one that really recognizes them for who they are in this Freaky Friday situation, and it’s really comedic. The whole thing. I think people will really get a kick out of it.”
We all know that it is none other than a doctor of Arkham Asylum, Doctor John Deegan who is responsible for the swapping of bodies between Barry and Oliver and he got those powers from the more powerful villain of the crossover ‘The Monitor’.
Although the best part of this deadly and scary swap is that their respective teams simply don’t know anything about this and this is where the fun is going to make its way into the show because there are going to be a lot of incidents where this swap is going to produce laughs.
Well, it seems like we are going to see Supergirl in an incredibly important role in the movie and by her statement, we can also get the idea that she is the one who will be the one leading the team this time.
