There are a lot of fascinating things and amazing objects in the Marvel movies but the quest of Thanos for the Infinity Stones seems to be the greatest thing and also quite reasonable as the powers all these stones posses are simply incredible. But, one stone, in particular, has been in the talks, the Soul Stone on whose capabilities the directors of the movie Avengers: Infinity War have finally spoken.
It’s never easy to get something from Russo Brothers as they’re really good at avoiding questions about the movie and seems to be the masters of this skill but they do reveal things which need to be revealed and one of the things which came in the limelight after its appearance in the movie Avengers: Infinity War is the most powerful and strongest Infinity Stone, the Soul Stone.
There has been a lot of things said on the internet about it but the real potential of the stone hasn’t been seen yet on the big screen. We have seen in the movie Infinity War that it was the soul stone which demanded the biggest sacrifice in exchange of all the powers (we don’t know those powers) it holds.
As we all know that Thanos has got his hands on the soul stone and fans are really desperate in order to know how he is going to use it and what are its powers.
In the context of all these confusions and questions, Russo Brothers appeared in a Q&A phase during the screening of the movie Avengers: Infinity War and the questions were asked about the capabilities of Soul Stone and it has been stated by Peter Sciretta that the answer the duo has given is:
“The Soul Stone has the ability to manipulate your soul and your essence of who you are. [Thanos] uses the Soul Stone to pull Strange out of his own body when he’s multiple Stranges. Thanos also uses the soul stone to talk to his dead daughter.”
Also, the co-writer of the movie Infinity War, Stephen McFeely stated that Thanos did use the Soul Stone when it was Doctor Strange who split himself into his several forms but Thanos still managed to know who the real Sorcerer Supreme was because the Soul Stone pointed in which form the soul lies.
So, Russo Brothers answer has given us an idea that all the people who were brought down to dust after Thanos’ Snap are trapped in some kind of a soul world and it will open gates towards their return after the collection of soul stone from the superheroes.
We all know that we are going to see a lot of characters in the movie as Crossbones, Ancient One, and a lot of others are going to make their way into the movie. Also, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is going to come in this one and with all these stars coming, it seems like we are going to see a kind of flashback of all the movies from the first Iron Man in next year’s Avengers 4 and there are a lot of theories on the internet which are claiming that time travel is going to be the only solution of reversing things.
The movie is going to be simply incredible as there are chances that we are going to see our superheroes taking infinity stones from some kind of a parallel world or maybe from going back in time and there is a lot of speculation that in order to get their hands on soul stone its going to be Captain America who is going to sacrifice himself by the hands of Bucky because he simply loves Bucky more than Bucky loves Captain.
