Aquaman is going to be a tremendous movie and a lot of fans and even the rivals of DC are counting on the success of this movie because it seems like the underwater world has been explored pretty well by the makers of the film. A new clip from the movie Aquaman is making a lot of waves on the internet as in that clip we can see the Trench army and also glimpses of their power.
The movie is going to come soon on the big screen and fans are in love with the movie as they all can see the effects and hard work done by the makers of the film in order to make this movie a successful one and we can see that by the visuals and terrific underwater creatures we are seeing in the trailers or clips from the movie which are making a lot of shock waves on the internet.
The waves of the popularity of this movie are already very high but it seems like they’re not going to rest upon that as a new clip of a new sequence has been revealed at the ComplexCon. The sequence revealed a closer look to the powers and the scary Trench army has.
The sequence was shared by a person on the internet which showed us all the army of those bloodthirsty creatures of the underwater who are running behind Mera and Aquaman in the sequence and the scene looks really amazing as a lot of Trench creatures are behind these two and their representation is also very close to their appearances in the comic books. We all know that Trench are very dangerous creatures and also one of the three races who survived the demise of Atlantis in the comic books as they are simply bloodthirsty creatures and all they want is to kill and eat creatures.
The lethal creature Trench were created by two talented minds in the name of Ivan Reis and Geoff Johns and made their first-ever appearance in the Aquaman vol.7 #1 which came in Nov. 2011.
Not many know the full story of the Trench which we have seen in the comics as they were inhabitants of the Atlantis and when the continent was getting destroyed by the hands of Atlan, the Dead King.
There were only three groups who managed to escape that tragedy and those three were none other than the Atlanteans, Xebelians in the famous Bermuda Triangle, and the Trench who were sent deep into the Marianas Trench. That was the place where Trench adapted and also gained a lot of powers.
We don’t know what we are going to see in the movie as the Trench have a very long and different history of their own and it’s really hard in what role we will see them. But, seeing a lot of footage from the movie we can see that the Trench are having their famous pointed teeth and also that famous toxic secretion which helps them while fighting with their opponents.
We all know that James Wan has directed this one and it will be really amazing to see what the man of horror will offer us through this movie as we all know that he has been involved in a lot of tremendously successful horror movies.
The director of the movie James Wan has expressed the importance of his own ideas and methods while making this movie as he is one of those directors who knows how to pick the pulse of their audience as horror genre is one of the toughest genres in the world and he has been a great student of that for some years now if not the master. So, he said in an interview,
“It was very important for me early on to be allowed to make my own film and to have my own voice be in there,” Wan said. “After Furious 7 and Conjuring 2, I didn’t want to be a director for hire. After Furious 7, that’s kind of who I was to some degree, but after that, I don’t want to be that guy again. So, it was very important for me to be able to bring my own stamp, my own visual aesthetic, create the characters. Even though Jason has somewhat been established Justice League, I wanted to bring his character into this, basically, fresh in a lot of ways.”
“So it was important for me to obviously pay a respect to where he was left off in [Justice League], but then allow me the freedom to take him to where I want to take him at the end of the movie. My hero goes on this hero’s journey to become someone very different than where he started. That was something that was very important for me. But the movie I want to make, that I was allowed that freedom to do that.”
