Will Jensen Ackles Play The Batman in ‘The CW’ Crossover? Here’s What Stephen Amell Said…

Jensen Ackles Batman:

Netflix is in the headlines lately but because of all the wrong things and it seems like Arrow has come to their rescue and has shifted the focus from all the bad things they have been centered around to the much normal ones as we already have the news of Roy Harper having a bad ending but that is going to be overshadowed by the news that we are not going to have Jensen Ackles portraying the role of Batman in the Elseworlds according to the Arrow star Stephen Amell.

There were a lot of rumors in the market after spotting Ackles on the sets of Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover but now all the rumors of Dean Winchester teaming all the heroes of the Arrowverse in one frame are over despite knowing that Ackles is the one who has been rumored to be the next Batman ever since he lent his amazing voice for the character of titular Red Hood in the animated movie ‘Batman: Under the Red Hood’.

But, it’s Stephen Amell who ended all the hopes and dreams with his single tweet revealing that Jensen Ackles was at the sets of Arrowverse because of only one reason and that is the love he has for the show as he was there as a fan of the series. The tweet is down below and we feel really sorry for the fans of Arrowverse but I think Amell believes in living with no doubts in life as he cleared all the rumors very quickly.

So, it’s official that we are not going to have him in the role of Batman in Elseworld but we all know that he is the one who has been tipped with the role of Green Lantern and Nightwing but these casting rumors are still rumors and we don’t have any real update on this. But, the fans are still in those daydreams and fan casting mode and doing all sorts of edits with a hope that one day maybe some of their posters or fan arts will reach to the people at the top and they’ll consider Ackles for the role of Batman.

The actor Stephen Amell has also expressed his views on ‘Elseworlds’ by saying,

“The crossover is fucking bananas, “It’s crazy… I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. And not just the best but the best by a really, really wide margin. And I think that last year was fantastic. Crisis on Earth X’, I think that’s what it was called, that was pretty crazy and getting to play doppelgängers was pretty crazy, When Greg Berlanti first talked to me about why he wanted to do crossovers, it was because it’s for the fans. It’s so people can watch characters and scenarios that combine their favorite things on TV or introduce them to new things on TV. But you also get this license to do things that we could never do in the vacuum — especially on Arrow — that we can never do in the vacuum of just our show.”
