The universe of Star Wars is filled with characters that are so powerful that even the superheroes from the MCU will look like children in front of them. One of the most accomplished Force users is Kylo Ren, who has shown his mettle in the Star Wars universe with his Force-based abilities. He might seem invincible right now, but trust us – he is far from being the strongest. Presenting – 13 Star Wars Characters that will make invincible Kylo Ren cry like a baby!
1. Qui-Gon Jinn
The guy who taught the guy who taught Darth Vader, someone that Kylo Ren considers his idol. Qui-Gon Jinn is a master of the Force and is well respected as a senior member of the Jedi Council. He may not be as well connected to the Force as Kylo Ren but he has something that Kylo doesn’t – Emotional Stability. Via Meditation, this guy has mastered his own heart and Kylo is frequently seen running around on the battlefield like an angry toddler. This is why Qui-Gon can defeat Kylo.
2. Darth Maul
This guy just cannot die. He is maimed, burned and cut in half and he still manages to crawl out of one hole or another. Darth Maul first appeared in his fight against Qui-Gon Jinn where he killed the latter. He was soon killed by a young Obi-Wan Kenobi. But he later reappeared in The Clone Wars animated series with a pair of super strong robotic legs. Darth Maul has a mastery of the Force and wields a dual lightsabre. He is a force to be reckoned with.
3. Darth Sidious
Do not let his weak demeanour fool you. You don’t just become the ruler of a galaxy-spanning Sith Empire by defeating the powerful Jedi Order singlehandedly via sheer will. You need to be skilled in a lot of things. Darth Sidious did what no one else could. He made sure that it was the Sith who were the victors this time. He is also well versed in all sorts of Sith related Force-based abilities. For an instance, Darth Sidious in a comic book story arc summoned a Force Storm that destroyed an entire city. He did not even break a sweat while doing it.
4. Count Dooku
Count Dooku might look like a lame ass weakling to many. He does but the truth is far from that. Count Dooku has brilliant Force based lighting projection abilities. No one other than Anakin has been able to trump his Lightning powers. Count Dooku, when under the apprenticeship of Master Yoda, was considered to have a connection with the Force that could give even a young Anakin Skywalker a run for his money.
5. Luke Skywalker
The fact that this guy could make Kylo cry (literally) is enough for him to be on this list. Luke Skywalker did not get the status of the Hero of the Galaxy for nothing. He has worked hard for it. He mastered the Force and everything there is to know about it. In The Last Jedi, Luke Skywalker made Kylo his b*tch and the best part is, he wasn’t even there. If we had to pick someone to come back from the dead and beat Kylo’s ass again, you know who we would choose.
6. Mace Windu
Mace Windu was the last Jedi to survive the cleansing that happened under the leadership of Emperor Palpatine. Mace Windu realized that Palpatine is a Sith and decided to fight him one on one. He even defeated Darth Sidious. But he was later betrayed by his own brethren. Anakin Skywalker killed him by stabbing the guy in the back. Mace Windu defeated Emperor Palpatine in a one on one death match. That alone should be a testament to his abilities.
7. Darth Bane
Darth Bane was taught by a Sith Force Ghost. Darth Nihilus was killed by the Jedi but they failed to anticipate the fact that he had already developed a way to live as a spirit. His ghost would help Bane learn the ways of the Sith. Darth Bane would then go on to live a thousand years and develop the Sith Order into the beast it is today. Kylo should thank the Force Gods that he was not born in a time where Darth Bane was still around. Otherwise, things would have gone south for the man-child way faster than he could anticipate.
8. Rey
Hear us out. While May say that Rey and Kylo are on equal terms of strength, there is too much evidence to suggest otherwise. Firstly, she is not trained enough while Kylo has years of experience under the tutelage of Snoke. Yet she still managed to kick Kylo’s ass during their first encounter. Rey is also emotionally more stable and has a far greater connection to the Force. This is exactly why Rey could beat Kylo. She is a diamond in the making.
9. Master Yoda
Master Yoda is the most powerful Jedi ever. Period. Rey, Obi-Wan and even Luke Skywalker are no match for him. He has taught Jedi legends like Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker. He also is incredibly good on his feet and can handle a lightsabre battle as gracefully as a peacock in the rain. He is also 900 years old. His mastery of the Force is so amazing that he could manifest himself as a Force Ghost even after his death. No Force Ghost can physically change the real world, something that is like an unwritten rule for everyone but Yoda. He could even summon lightning in his Force Ghost form.
10. Galen Marek
Galen Marek was trained by none other than the Dark Lord Darth Vader himself. As a child, Marek caught the attention of Vader, who decided to train Marek in the ways of the Dark Side. Marek used the Force to increase his awareness and open up his mind, which is why he learnt almost everything there is to learn about the force in a matter of months, something that took Yoda centuries to do so. Marek would later get back to the Light Side and fight Vader. He eventually defeats his own master. One of Marek’s most incredible feats is using the force to bring down an entire Imperial Star Destroyer!!
11. Darth Nihilus
Darth Nihilus looks like an 80’s super villain from a semi-hit superhero show. But his backstory is a good one. As one of the Dark Lords spearheading the Sith during the Jedi Civil War, Nihilus was exposed to the energy field of the Shadow Generator weapon of the Siths. This considerably changed his physiology. He now lives as a spirit, bound to his own mask and armour. He was killed but since he is just a spirit that feeds off of the Force, he is effectively immortal. His abilities include Force absorption as well. He can suck the life force out of any living being. He may look like a cliché villain but appearances can be deceiving.
12. Darth Revan
Darth Revan was originally a well-respected member of the Jedi Order. He soon changed sides after the Mandalorian Wars were over. Taking control a large armada of Sith Vessels, he waged war against the Galactic Republic. Revan was later defeated and captured but at a high cost. It is for this reason that he is so high on this list. It took the last of the strength of the entire Jedi order to bring this guy to his knees. Yes, he was that powerful.
13. Darth Vader
The ultimate level of the Force, Darth Vader has displayed such extreme levels of strength that he is almost a God. As a child, he had the highest concentration of midichlorians – tiny microbes that generate the Force, than anyone the Jedi council had ever seen. When the guy went full evil, he went out guns blazing. A wave of terror and chaos swept through the Galaxy all thanks to Darth Vader. He spoke and the enemies trembled. He walked and the enemies surrendered. Kylo Ren could never reach the level of strength that Darth Vader was able to in his prime.
