The Flash returns this year with Season 5 of the popular The CW’s Arrowverse show featuring none other than Grant Gustin as the titular character Barry Allen aka the Fastest Man Alive. With The Flash’s Season 5 promo video already out, the fans can finally have a look at the new suit of the scarlet speedster in the newest iteration of the character in The CW channel!! Grant Gustin has been heroically fighting off all sorts of online trolls and body-shamers that are trying to take a dig at his body. The poster for The Flash’s new suit in Season 5 had already been released a while ago but this is the first time we see it in action. The Season 5 trailer is really something else. Not only is the Flash looking bulkier and truer to the comic books, his suit is also much more fitting to the source. The Flash Season 5 will feature the iconic Flash ring. The Ring has been historically the microchamber that houses the Flash Suit and is worn by the Scarlet Speedster in his alter ego form.
When the circumstances force him to go red and run, Barry Allen would then press a button that would release a mechanism which would then push the suit out of the microchamber. The suit is made up of microfibers and can extend to incredible lengths. The Flash would then change into his costume at super speed. This is what is going to happen in Season 5 of the Flash as well. The promo shows Barry Allen saying that the old Suit “is a little tighter than I remember.”

Well, of course, the winds of change are not going to stop at the window panes of The Flash itself. Arrow Season 7 is about to undergo some drastic transformation as said by the Arrowverse showrunners. There will be major shaking up of the characters and the setting is about to go a major reshaping. Super Girl Season 4 promises to tackle more socially important real-world issues. This year will also mark the introduction of Batwoman in The Arrowverse’s annual crossover event. The character will be played by none other than the beautiful Ruby Rose.
The Flash Season 5 returns on October 9 this year. Black Lightning will also release in the same date. Arrow Season 7 will air on October 5 while Super Girl will do the same in October 14. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is coming back on October 22. The Flash, Arrow, Super Girl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are all about to see a new sun and a new sky. The Suit Up promo is all but a glimpse into the future.
The CW channel has promised that the network will try to push the quality of the content this year to newer heights. They intend to leave a mark, not just make money out of our favorite red, green and yellow themed spandex superheroes. Let us hope they deliver what they promise to.
The Flash Season 4 has already aired its last episode. The official synopsis of the season 4 of The Flash reads:
“Running up against an evil time remnant version of yourself is something no one should ever have to do, but that’s exactly what faced Barry Allen (aka The Flash) as he fought to save the life of fiancée Iris West from the God of Speed known as Savitar.
Barry’s victory was short-lived, however, as an unbalanced Speed Force began to wreak havoc on Central City, forcing Barry to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
With The Fastest Man Alive now trapped inside an extra-dimensional energy, and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell.”
Moreover, the Flash promises that they will surely shake things up this year with its newest season unleashing an entirely new breed of villains that will make life more miserable than ever for the Scarlet Speedster. Good to know that the Flash at least has his suit with him at all times.
