Samuel L. Jackson Aka Nick Fury Accidentally Reveals Captain Marvel’s Official Mask!!!

Samuel L. Jackson aka Nick Fury of the Avengers is a crucial part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  He could be considered the pivot that helps move the engine of the MCU. The only other character that could fill his shoes is RDJ’s Tony Stark. Samuel L. Jackson will be seen again in Captain Marvel, which will show us a younger version of Nick Fury (he has hair!!!) carrying out his daily day shenanigans in the world of superheroes. But wait there’s more!!! In a recent promotional tour, Samuel Jackson has finally done the unthinkable. He might have unwittingly done something that shouldn’t have been done. More and more Captain Marvel news might be hitting the web but this one is a real kicker. Samuel Jackson aka Nick Fury accidentally reveals Captain Marvel’s official Mask!!!

The first official Marvel movie featuring a female lead is finally coming to theatres next year. But will it live up to the hype? Marvel was late to get into the female superhero bandwagon even though it already had tons of female superheroes to work with, both in the comic books and the movies.  The movies particularly could have exploited that aspect of the universe with heroes like Black Widow and Scarlet Witch being well-known heroes and members of the Avengers themselves. But it was DC Extended Universe that managed to have the cake and eat it too.

Wonder Woman was the first official movie to feature a female superhero lead and it has won many accolades and awards as one spectacular piece of art. Will Captain Marvel be able to live up to the bar set by her DC counterpart? While your faith may or may not be dwindling, Marvel is dead set to make it a success. And their marketing campaign is also into overdrive to make that a reality.

Captain Marvel fans know that the binary woman is known to wear a helmet that leaves some space at the top of her head which is where her signature Mohawk pops out of.  While it was a famous Captain Marvel thing, it is a thing of the past now. Carol Danvers hasn’t been seen in her Mohawk helmet since ages. The MCU is adamant on changing that. The newest Captain Marvel franchise as shown by Nick Fury, shows her back to wearing the Gangster helmet again. Is it a bold step or a stupid one? Could it be both?!?!?

Here is the picture:

Kelly Sue DeConnick is one of the original writers for the Captain Marvel issues that eventually turned her into a legendary character in the annals of comic book history. And she always wanted Marvel to give Carol Danvers her original Mohawk back. She even asked Disney to make it happen in the movie. Looks like she got what she originally wished for. The Mohawk is back fellas!!!

“I love the helmet! That is not a universal opinion,” DeConnick said to Vairty in an interview. “After we left the book, they got rid of the helmet. I have a lot of boring continuity arguments on the history of the helmet and a list of reasons as to why the helmet exists. I want the helmet!”

Captain Marvel is set for release on March 8, 2019. Ant-Man and the Wasp is the next MCU movie in line to be released on July 6, 2018. Both the movies are rumored to be interconnected in some way. We hope it is something really, really good. Go, Captain Marvel!!!
