Avengers 4: This Superhero Has Already Started Dr. Strange’s End-Game Plan

The audience response to Infinity War has been staggering as it reached Billion dollar box-office collections within a week and now stands at $2.1 Billion in total earnings worldwide. The ending left us stunned as Thanos fulfilled his purpose in life as he snapped his fingers leading to the extermination of half of the universe.

The plot of Avengers 4 remains a deep mystery and fans continue to speculate as to what could possibly happen. After watching Ant-Man and Wasp, we know that ‘Quantum realm’ will play an instrumental role. It will be further explored in Captain Marvel as it set the stage for a culmination of this entire saga and bring curtains down on MCU Phase 3.

Here’s what the Infinity War writers said:

Markus – “[Avengers 4] doesn’t do what you think it does. It is a different movie than you think it is. Also…[the deaths are] real. I just want to tell you it’s real, and the sooner you accept that the sooner you will be able to move on to the next stage of grief”.

McFeely – “Nobody knows, and that’s what makes me particularly excited. I look all the time on the internet: people have no idea. [Avengers] 4 resolves the intrigue of Infinity War; [the movies are] clearly linked, but they almost seem to belong to two different genres. We did not want to cut a film in half and say, ‘Pay now and come back in a year for the rest!’ These are two very different stories, on a tonal and structural level.”

He added:

“Put it this way. I think [Infinity War] is a fairly mature movie for a blockbuster. It’s got a lot of fun in it, obviously, but boy, it gets very mature. The second one is also mature. We’re going to own these choices, and hopefully surprise and delight you and get you invested. It’s by the same studio, the same filmmaking team. They were written at the same time, shot at the same time. They’re clearly connected, but they are definitely two different movies, one of which is dependent on what happened previously”.

In the Infinity War, Dr. Strange foresaw over 14 million outcomes of this battle between Thanos and Avengers and deduced that there is just one scenario where good guys win. He told Stark,

“We’re in the end-game now”.

Iron Man is at the heart of Strange’s end-game plan to defeat Thanos, so he broke his vow to safeguard ‘Time stone’ at all costs, only to trade it for Tony’s life. But Ant-Man also has a huge role in this one scenario where Avengers win the war. [Spoiler Alert]

Ant-Man and the Wasp quantum-realm

In the post-credits of Ant-Man and Wasp, we saw Scott going into the Quantum realm to collect Quantum healing particles, he tried to contact Team Pym in the real world, but they turned to dust after the big snap. Had he gone a minute early then he wouldn’t have been trapped. It’s possible that Strange made this calculation when he allowed Mad Titan to win.

The casting for older Lang has confirmed that there will be a time jump of 5-6 years, and if Scott comes out of the realm, then he will be living proof of non-time-stone time travel. This is truly insane!
