Thanos vs Luke Cage – This Fight Will Make You Forget Hulk’s Epic Takedown In Infinity War

This is a fight we could not even imagine as we already know the result of it. Still, we should not underestimate the hero of Harlem because his sneaky blows may actually turn out to be surprising. Thanos vs Luke Cage – Let’s see who among these two tough blocks turns out to be the winner:

The Mad Titan

Infinity War Infinity gauntlet

Thanos is notably the biggest villain the Avengers have ever had to face. He is the ultimate big bad of the entire Marvel universe and is famous for conquering entire universes in the multiverse. He just becomes unbeatable with the number of powers he has which are the Superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and intelligence, Energy manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, teleportation, and Longevity. Along with this, Thanos gets hold of the Infinity Gauntlet which contains the 6 infinity stones that could wipe out the entire universe with just one blow.

He is known as the Mad Titan by the galactic community and the Dark Lord by his most loyal underlings. He is a very powerful cosmic warlord that rules over a very distant region in outer space. Along with all the powers mentioned above, he commands two massive armies known as the Chitauri and the Outriders. Along with his armies, his loyal generals who are also his children in the MCU are a part of his very evil Black Order. The members of The Black Order include Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Corvus Glaive. He is also the father of Nebula and Gamora, and with the use of the Infinity Stones, he can control all of these individuals together and with the powers of this unified team combined, he could take out any being in the entire multiverse.

Luke Cage

Born Carlos Lucas, aka Luke Cage was the first African-American superhero to have his own series comic book series and not just that, he was also the first character of his race to actually do well with the readers. Luke was a gifted athlete and during his teenage years, he developed a big interest sport, but unfortunately could not do as big in his sports career.  Even though he was from Harlem, a hood in New York, he still grew up to be a law-abiding individual. The real problems started when Carl Lucas was convicted of a crime he did not commit as he became the victim of a hasty persecution and incompetent defense counsel. As a result, Luke cage was incarcerated on the basis of a wrongful conviction but from there on, Luke’s life took a major turn as he became a subject to certain experimentation that made him the very being we now love.

Being a participant of the “power man” experiments (as they’d later become to be known as) failed to augment Luke as the scientists desire but still the failed procedures gave him nigh impenetrable skin as it altered the composition of Luke’s body on a molecular level. The experiments also resulted in a significant increase in Luke’s strength, stamina and durability, granting him with the means of offense to supplement his absolute defense. He was the exonerated from prison upon false charges, being blessed with superhuman powers. From there on he resolved to use these powers for the good of people and strictly focused upon getting the youth of Harlem that was being colluded into the clutches of organized crime on the right path.

Cage is an intensely powerful dude who can go toe to toe with the toughest beings in the Universe. Here are some insane strengths and abilities that he possesses – Nigh Impregnable skin, Superhuman Strength that allows him to lift up to 25 tonnes, Superhuman Stamina which actually made him Faster than Usain Bolt and he his recovery time from injuries is also enhanced. He may not even be taken down by the likes of Iron Man, Captain America or even the Juggernaut.

Well, this fight may not be as non-competitive as you think. At his best, Iron Man was only able to give Thanos a mere scratch that only cost him a drop of blood. Luke Cage’s power levels, on the other hand, are higher than what an Iron Man armor possesses. So, he can easily hold his own against the likes of Thanos. Even though Thanos is an insanely powerful cosmic warlord having power levels much higher than Luke Cage, he would still have to work a bit in a fair fight without his Gauntlet.

Luke Cage is extremely strong on defense and can take big hits due to his impenetrable skin. So, he would be able to withstand the big blows of Thanos for a while, and in a straight up fist fight, he could actually trouble the Mad Titan. Still, the Mad Titan will surely not be brought down by Luke Cage and ultimately, he would emerge victorious even without the Infinity Gauntlet or his army. Using the Gauntlet is a different story altogether.
