Avengers 4 Set Photos Might Have Revealed A Major Plot Point For MCU’s Future!!!

Thanos came. Thanos saw. Thanos conquered. The Avengers did their best but it was not enough. The Avengers are now in quite the trouble. The Mad Titan got hold of all the six Primordial Infinity Stones despite the Earth’s mightiest heroes moving heaven and earth to stop him from achieving just that. He always wanted just one thing i.e to bring balance to the universe. And the only way it’s possible is if he exterminates half the life in the galaxy. He collected all six Infinity stones, assembled them in a gauntlet and snapped his fingers.

The Avengers failed and they paid dearly. Half of all life in the universe including many heroes was wiped out as per Thanos’ dream. He thought he had brought balance to the universe while in actuality what he wrought upon the entire universe is anguish and pain of cosmic proportions.

How do the Avengers get out of this? Avengers 4 will be the continuation of the two-part Infinity War saga within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It may not be the direct sequel but it will take the MCU Phase 3 to its logical culmination.

The Russos shared their views on the ending and the impact of this on Avengers 4, they said:

“Anthony Russo – It’s hard to talk about because it’s so specific to the ending, what’ he’s talking about.

Joe Russo – We will say this, obviously Thanos is a very formidable villain and to beat Thanos will come at a very high cost. We’re committed to stakes, we believe in stakes, and we like to shake up the Marvel Universe. We had a big game-changer at the end of Winter Soldier, had a big game-changer at the end of Civil War, a big game-changer at the end of Infinity War. Obviously, there will be a big game changer at the end of Avengers 4.”

How will Avengers 4 undo the Mad Titan’s actions? Well, according to Infinity War writers, the deaths are permanent in nature and fans really need to move on from the process of grief. Here’s what they said:

Markus – “[Avengers 4] doesn’t do what you think it does. It is a different movie than you think it is. Also…[the deaths are] real. I just want to tell you it’s real, and the sooner you accept that the sooner you will be able to move on to the next stage of grief”.

McFeely – “Put it this way. I think [Infinity War] is a fairly mature movie for a blockbuster. It’s got a lot of fun in it, obviously, but boy, it gets very mature. The second one is also mature. We’re going to own these choices, and hopefully surprise and delight you and get you invested. It’s by the same studio, the same film-making team. They were written at the same time, shot at the same time. They’re clearly connected, but they are definitely two different movies, one of which is dependent on what happened previously”.

Turns out, the set photos for Avengers 4 may have connected the dots. Avengers 4 set photos might have revealed a Major plot point for MCU’s future!!!

A few photos of the Avengers, the founding members from the original 2012 movie, have been doing the rounds on the internet. It shows Captain America in his original blue Captain America uniform along with Thor sporting his long hair back from his golden days and Robert Downey Junior as the quintessential arrogant playboy in a tin can suit. The uniforms worn by the Avengers in the photos look drastically similar to the ones from the 2012 movie.

While many thought that the photos indicate that this might be a Flashback sequence or at best, an indication that Avengers 4 will be a time travel movie, a new set photo has debunked this theory. This set photo shows Iron Man aka Tony Stark in a shield uniform.

Tony Stark is an agent of Shield in this new Behind-the-scene image. Tony Stark never joined Shield in the first place. In fact, he loathed the very idea of Shield and stayed away from it as much as he could even when Fury asked him time and again to join the organization.

Here is the picture from the Twitter social media platform:

What changed his mind??

The caption of the uploaded picture reads:

“I’M LATE BUT I just realized that this has to be time travel and not a flashback because there are two Tonys in the same place?? (see the door behind loki and tony) ALSO someone removes the muffle and the shackles from loki’s wrists I swear if present Tony talks to past loki IM-“

The same post shows us yet another picture of everyone’s favorite MCU anti-hero. Loki is seen in his full gear and garb being escorted by a group of soldier while holding a bright, white object. This could be the Tesseract. The CGI would be used on this object, later on, to turn it blue and shiny later on. This era is, of course, the pre-Infinity War period. Thanos has not yet used the Gauntlet to snap half of all life in the Universe away in this time period.

Another Marvel photo reveals something yet even more peculiar. Another picture of Stark as the Agent of Shield shows us something interesting. It shows us a door. While it may not sound as much fascinating, it is the same door scene in the background of the said Loki picture.

That means Stark somehow goes back in time and goes undercover as a Shield agent. But why!!!! Perhaps his plan is to help break Loki out of prison. And this again begs us to ask the question – Why????

Avengers 4

Another element that has been the subject of fervent discussion in the internet forums is the clip like device that certain characters like Ant-Man and Iron Man are seen wearing in the Avengers 4 set photos. The same device is also seen on a pre CGI Mark Ruffalo as a patch mark on his hand. Thor does not sport this clip on though.

The purpose of this weird element within the movie could be the one that solves the greatest MCU mystery of them all – How will Avengers 4 bring back our beloved heroes. While there are several theories that try and address the weird clips on Iron Man and Ant-Man, we shall leave it to the Marvel studios to provide us with any sort of concrete proof before we jump on to conclusions on our own.
