Avengers: Infinity War – Team Thor, Wakanda And Iron Man Posters Released

Avengers: Infinity War is going to come out in less than 30 days and the excitement for this movie has gone past the skies of this planet. This is going to be the biggest comic book ensemble movie that Marvel or any other studio for that matter has ever produced as it is going to bring in a huge roster of A-List actors playing characters of significant relevance in the movie.

According to reports, around 67 major comic characters will appear and half of those are superheroes. Now, all the fans have an idea for what to expect from this movie. Never before has anything like this in terms of scale and magnitude been attempted by anyone ever. It will be totally unprecedented.

The Russos have described ‘Avengers Infinity War’ as a heist movie as it will feature the most terrifying Marvel cosmic supervillain ‘Thanos’ who will come along with his Black Order for the six Infinity stones namely Power, Space, Time, Mind, Reality, and Soul, and steal them one by one by sheer force. He wants to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet and become the strongest cosmic entity in the entire universe. Here is what they said:

“With “Infinity War,” the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he’s entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he’s almost one of the leads. We’ve shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he’s going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them, and that brought some inspiration”.

Since the digital marketing of the movie has really kicked in at full force every day something new keeps getting revealed about the movie. Ever since March began, we got to see new promo arts, photos and magazine covers being released almost every day, revealing almost all the characters of the movie along with other important aspects.

The new trailer of the movie showed light on many new plot details but still, it kept the main story of the movie hidden. Now, Marvel has released 3 new posters of the movie displaying the Teams ups we are going to get in this upcoming epic extravaganza, along with the hints at the Infinity Stones. Here are the new posters of Avengers: Infinity War:

Thor, Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot

This poster displays the unification of Thor with the Guardians as we saw in the trailers that Thor is initially going to meet up with the Guardians, and then the team is going to split up as Thor, Rocket, and Groot are going to go on a mission to get Thor a new weapon while the rest of the Guardians are going to Knowhere and Titan where they will unite with Tony, Spidey, and Doctor Strange. It also highlights the Power Stone, which has its relations with the Guardians right from the beginning.

Iron Man, Iron Spider, Doctor Strange, and Wong

This is a team up that is going to be on the screen for a while as all 4 of these will tag along for quite a while and along with them, Bruce Banner has also been attached to them in all the Marketing fronts. It also gives us a hint of the Dual-Team ups of Iron Man & Iron-Spider, and Doctor Strange & Wong. The Reality Stone is also highlighted by 4 of these heroes.

Black Panther, Okoye, Black Widow and the Hulk

This image displays team Wakanda being highlighted, and it also hints at the dual team up of Black Panther and Okoye since they will obviously stick together, while Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff will also be unified and have a very interesting story arc throughout the upcoming two movies. The Time Stone gets hinted as the Four of these stand in shining Green.

Out of all these characters, it has been revealed by Joe Russo, the co-director of the movie that Thor is going to have the maximum amount of screen time in the movie apart from Thanos. here’s what he said:

“Interestingly enough, I’ll start out by saying Thanos, even though he’s not a character that had a huge preexisting story in the Marvel universe. He was a threat but he was not developed in any way up to this point. Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time in this film, in a lot of ways I would say it’s his movie. Our job when we make these films — and what we feel is important to us — is to surprise the audience. We wanted to tell a story that they weren’t expecting, and the story is told from the point of view of a villain, which I think is also really unique and risky for a commercial film that will surprise the audience. I think this is a market where the audience really enjoys innovation and disruption, and we want to do something innovative in this space. So I think Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time, and I think you’ll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film. He hasn’t been at the forefront of other Avengers movies but he certainly has a very important role in this film. So I’ll say, Thanos and Thor.”
