Avengers Infinity War as we know is the most anticipated movie of this year and it is not too far from us. In less than months, we will get to see the movie along with the insane thing it has in store for us. The hype for the movie is huge as it is the biggest Superhero ensemble ever seen on the big screen. This is the first movie ever to include such a huge number of A-List actors from Hollywood all at once.
One of the big things people are hyped about in this movie is Iron Man and his new armors for the movie. Iron Man has evolved a lot from the time he showed up in his first solo movie that came out a decade ago. Iron Man’s suits in Phase 1 used to be a lot bulkier. Then as his tech kept on getting better and better, the look of the suits kept getting sleeker on a regular basis. And not in phase 3, he has brought in the most advanced suits from his armory.
Now, the suit in Avengers: Infinity War will be something that we have never seen before, as the suit is so streamlined and sleek that it looks as if Tony is wearing it as clothing on his body. This entire suit will be placed within Tony’s new Arc Reactor, and it will form around his body as soon as he wants it to. This is the Bleeding edge version of Iron Man’s suit from the comics.
It has got abilities we cannot even imagine. The entire suit fitting in the Arc Reactor itself may not be as surprising to us now as it would have been before Black Panther, as Black Panther’s entire suit also fits in the nails of his necklace. Still, it is pretty impressive. But what is even more impressive about Iron Man’s new armor in the movie is the weaponry that he is bringing in.
We saw huge canons coming out, in place of his repulsor blasters in the concept arts of the suit. Along with that, his shoulders also had 2 huge sonic blasters coming out, which were revealed in a toy. And now, Entertainment Weekly has revealed 15 new covers of 22 heroes coming in Infinity War along with 1 Mad Titan. The Iron Man cover of EW shows yet another mind-blowing ability of the suit.
As we can see in this cover, 4 big wing like things are coming out of Iron Man’s back which are actually jetpacks that allow him to fly at high speeds in deep space. Long ago were the days when the Iron Man armors faced icing problems. And now, Iron Man is ready to move to space. Here’s what the EW cover exactly revealed about these Deep-Space rocket Boosters:
“Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark will fire up the Bleeding Edge armor, which emerges across his body from a new arc reactor and includes “wings” on the back and arms that serve as rocket boosters into deep space.”
We have already seen Tony and Spider-Man being present on an unknown planet while fighting against Thanos. People speculated that it is actually the ‘Battleworld’ from the comics, but as it has been revealed in the EW magazine coverage of Infinity War, this unknown planet is actually Thanos’ homeworld ‘Titan’. Still, it does count as Outer space as it is an entirely different planet. So, we will definitely see him take the Armour to space and new planets.
Avengers: Infinity War will hit the theatres on April 27, and here’s the synopsis of the movie:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.
