Here’s When The Third Trailer For Avengers: Infinity War Will Be Released

Avengers Infinity War is the most awaited superhero movie in the year 2018 or perhaps ever. The MCU began with the release of Iron Man in 2008 which set up this vast and multi-dimensional universe. The Infinity War will mark the culmination of everything that has happened in the Marvel three phases and brings closure to so many storylines and plots which are still unresolved.

Marvel dropped the first official trailer after listening to the cries of millions of fans yearning to get a glimpse of their favorite superheroes. Well, the trailer totally owned and conquered the internet as it broke the all-time record for the maximum number of viewings in the first 24 hours of its release. The pundits tracking numbers believe that if all the hype translates into footfalls then the movie can even surpass box office record of Avatar.

For the first time, we will see Thanos in action as he take matters into his own hands. Till now he was only seen in the post credits or teasers, well now he is coming to Earth with his evil Black order to steal the Infinity gems. Here is what Collector said about Infinity gems:

“Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots… Infinity Stones.”―The Collector

The Russo brothers who have directed the movie claimed to have been inspired from heist movies as Thanos will collect these precious stones one by one to assemble the gauntlet in order to rule the cosmos. Here is what they said:

“With “Infinity War,” the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he’s entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he’s almost one of the leads. We’ve shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he’s going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them, and that brought some inspiration”.

This year’s Super Bowl brought in a lot of goodies for us, and one of the biggest spots out of all we go was the Avengers: Infinity War TV spot that took the world by storm. Fans all over the world have cheered and celebrated this new look at the most anticipated movie of this year. The first official trailer gave us a lot of new footage, and the new teaser also brought in so many new things into the mix, giving us a lot in just 30 seconds of time. But, still, these two were pretty small and Marvel fans need to know when we will actually get the full-length story trailer for the movie.

Marvel spends big on marketing and they market their movies very well, releasing the trailers and the toys for the movies at the right point of time. The trailers are equipped very well as they do not reveal the movie and at the same time give us a lot to think about and be fascinated. Till now, with the two trailers that we got, fans did go crazy after seeing the footage from those two, but it was so less and it would only have stopped them for a day or two since they would always ask for more until the time the movie gets released.

In 2016, when Captain America: Civil War was about to come out, the pattern of the trailers that were released for the movie went this way – first a full trailer around the months of November-December, then a TV Spot came at Super Bowl, and in the month of March came out the final trailer of the movie that gave us a good look at the story of the movie. And after that, the marketing started at full force with new trailers and TV spots revealing a lot of different scenes and footage from the movie.

Last year with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, the pattern was pretty much similar except for the fact that we did not get a spot at Super Bowl. So, the marketing for a movie coming out in May is always done in the same pattern as this is what happened at the time of Avengers: Age of Ultron as well. Now, it also looks to be the same with Infinity War. The first trailer came out in December, broke so many records, gave a good look at the movie, made fans fall in love with the movie.  Then, a TV spot came out this month, revealed a lot and at the same time kept quiet, teased fans with the footage presented and again made them happy.

Avengers: Infinity War

So, if Avengers: Infinity War is following the same pattern, then the next full-fledged trailer for the movie will certainly come out sometime next month. This new trailer will give us a good look at the story of the movie, have a lot of cool moments to excite the fans, and all in all. Increase the hype of the movie even more. Next month, Disney has 3 things that are coming out. First will be the return of Agents of Shield on March 2nd, and Marvel might attach the trailer with it to increase the ratings of the show. Second is the second season for Jessica Jones coming out on Netflix on March 7, so the trailer might come out with that.  The third release would be of the upcoming movie, A Wrinkle in Time, which is coming out on March 9, so the new trailer may very well come out with that.

The possibility of the trailer coming out with A Wrinkle in time is much higher as it would be the right time to release the final trailer of the movie and it may be a little early if the trailer comes with Agents of Shield on March 2. But, who knows, Marvel has done that before and they can do it again. The summary to be drawn from this is that we will surely get the final story trailer for Avengers Infinity War in the first week of March, which is awesome!

Marvel studios have so far released three distinct line of synopsis for the mega comic book event ‘Avengers Infinity War’. Read them below:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe”.

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.

“Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment”.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on May 4, 2018. The movie is directed by Russo Brothers who are well known in the industry for making giant, action packed superhero movies (my favorite is Captain America: Civil War), produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige along with a set of Executive producers including God of Marvel comics Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Michael Grillo. The two incredibly talented duo Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely have written the screenplay.
