Battle of Crazy Monsters: The Hulk Vs Ghost Rider

The Hulk Vs Ghost Rider: Who will win?

This battle is the one we would love to watch on the big screen. Both the Rider and the Hulk are known to be beings of immense destruction. This burning battle would actually take a pretty long time to end as we won’t find a winner anytime soon. We need to witness a battle like this in the MCU. So let’s analyze the strengths of both these individuals and compare the results from the comics, and find out the ultimate winner between these two monsters of destruction!

The Hulk

Hulk is a force no one can control, not even he himself. When he is ‘Smashing’ no one stays standing. Hulk is probably the strongest Avenger (well according to Tony he is) and no one would want to cross paths against this giant green rage monster. Bruce Banner is a scientist with a genius level intellect and he became the Hulk when he was accidentally exposed to Gamma rays during the detonation of an experimental bomb as they were trying to recreate the Super Soldier Serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. Instead what was created was this big Green Goliath.

When Banner transformers into the Hulk, he becomes extremely powerful and loses control being subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will, often leading to destructive rampages and conflicts that complicate Banner’s civilian life. His Strength is often proportionate to the level of anger he possesses at a time. Attacking the Hulk will make him angrier and hence even stronger, so that would be a foolish mistake to make for anyone. His powers include superhuman strength and durability. He can run really fast despite being so heavy and can jump higher than a building.

Ghost Rider

The Ghost Rider is an Anti-Hero from the Marvel comics. Johnny Blaze is the first Supernatural Ghost Rider as he agreed to give his soul to ‘Satan’ (Mephisto), in order to save the life of his father, and in return, the stunt motorcyclist got possessed by a demon. During the night, when evil is looping around, Johnny Blaze’s flesh gets consumed by hellfire, and his head turns into a flaming skull. This version of Ghost Rider rides a fiery motorcycle and wields blasts of hellfire from his body, usually from his skeletal hands. Johnny Blaze eventually found out that he has been bonded with the demon Zarathos.

Other individuals that became the Ghost Rider are – Danny Kench, Alejandra Jones and most recently, Robbie Reyes. The Reyes version of Ghost Rider actually drives a black classic muscle car reminiscent of a modified 1969 Dodge Charger instead of a motorcycle. The Ghost Rider has some insane Supernatural abilities, as when Johnny Blaze turns into the Skull headed burning Superhuman, he becomes virtually indestructible and notoriously hard to injure by any conventional means, as bullets and knives usually pass through him without even causing any sort of pain. The Motorcycle he is famously known to ride can travel faster than any conventional vehicle and can perform such seemingly impossible feats as riding across water surfaces, up a vertical surface, and even leaping across great distances which the normal motorcycles cannot.

Even though the Ghost Rider is made up of Bone and Hellfire, he possesses formidable superhuman strength which is so immense that he can easily lift a truck and throw it across a road. Along with that, the Rider possesses the ability to burn the souls of the guilty.

The Burning man VS the Green rage monster is a battle we have seen in the comics, but it will not happen on the big screen in the near future. Still, it is worth spending time on this imagining the two trying to rip each other apart. The Ghost Rider’s hellfire attacks may not be of many effects on the Hulk, but he can hold on to him with the magically powered chains he possesses. The Ghost Rider has enough power to Grapple and wrap up the Hulk with his chain and strangle him across the surface of the earth.

This would only make the Hulk so angry, and we all know that the angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes. The Hulk’s unlimited strength might be just too much to take even for the insanely powerful demon Zarathos. He will be able to put up a great fight, but a time will come when the Hulk will just smash the Demon Zarathos out of Johnny Blaze.

Even in the World War II comics –

“ The Hulk has defeated the Johnny Blaze aspect of the Ghost Rider in an epic battle. While the Blaze performed admirably, he was unable to challenge the matchless might of the World War Hulk. The Hulk knocks out Blaze and then the power of Zarathos is released.”
