Black Panther: International Trailer Reveals The Suit’s Insane New Abilities

Black Panther is the final MCU phase 3 movie. It has got the fans all up and excited about its extravagant special effects and top-notch action sequences. The trailer gave us everything a Marvel fan ever needs -CGI, new characters and (hopefully with Serkis on board) a good villain. The story will explore the exploits and adventures of T’Challa – the first true black superhero of Marvel Comics.

T’Challa, as the Black Panther, possesses superhuman abilities. A heart-shaped drug that every successor to the Black Panther mantle has to take gives T’Challa superhuman strength, speed, agility and dexterity. Apart from that, T’Challa also has the entire nation of Wakanda running logistics behind the screen as well as the Balck Panther suit itself.

The suit is vibranium lined that makes it almost impossible for bullets and rockets to penetrate it. It has several inbuilt functions like a HUD and an automatic life support system is also installed to treat the Black Panther in case of an injury. But a new japans trailer shows that is not everything the suit has. A terrifying new power within the Black Panther suit has been revealed.

The suit, in the trailer, can be seen absorbing concussive energy blasts and redistributing it according to the wearer’s will.

How will the movie interpret the suit’s new power into the plot of Black Panther is yet to be revealed. Is the suit only capable of absorbing kinetic energy or it can absorb energy from the entire spectrum? How long can the suit hold the energy at once absorbed? The trailer shows T’Challa throwing a bunch of glowing grenades at an enemy convoy. So maybe the energy is released via explosions. We are still not sure so it is just pure speculation.

T’Challa is the King of Wakanda. The tiny African Nation has followed a policy of international isolation from world affairs from the very beginning. And rightfully so.

Wakanda is the only nation in the whole world that has deposits of the alien metal Vibranium in her soils. The metal is as rare and valuable as one could be. It has properties that allow it to absorb any level of vibration into itself hence the name. The same metal is the one that makes up Captain America’s shield and T’Challa’s claws in his Black Panther suit.

Wakandan Technology is also far too advanced compared to rest of the world as the trailer shows us. Not only have they flying ships for cars, their weaponry and battle tech are also super ahead of the rest of the world, almost alien one could say.

You might now realize why Wakanda has decided to stay aloof and within her own walls with a strict no outsider policy.

So when a villain starts churning stories about Wakanda and eyes its rich wealth for himself, T’Challa is forced to turn his head and listen. The villain, played by Andy Serkis, is Ulysses Klaue – a well-known supervillain and arch enemy of Black Panther from Marvel Comics storylines. Klaue talks about a golden kingdom deep within the jungles of Africa that hold riches and treasures like no one has ever seen.

The trailer shows him collaborating with Erik Killmonger, a former Wakandan who was later exiled and now enemy number one of the nation to wreck all sorts of Havoc on T’Challa and his people. But looks like T’Challa is more than equipped to handle even two super villains if need be.
