10 Upcoming Movies That Might Surprise Us All

Recent movies that came out in Hollywood surprised everyone by being really amazing. Small Budget movies like Split, Get Out, Logan etc. were huge hits on the Box-office and most of the Upcoming movies feel like they will do the same and be much more awesome than they are expected to be. Here is a list.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

The Rock has found his niche as an action-movie star in Hollywood and he keeps bringing a variety of movies to the mix and believes in doing very versatile roles. His upcoming movie, the Jumanji reboot just launched a new trailer recently, and it seems to have changed the storyline entirely. The new storyline seems pretty different and interesting than the previous one and it seems like it will be well acclaimed as well. It is going to come out on December 20, 2017.

Annabelle: Creation

Well, the first Annabelle movie pretty much sucked but the second installment seems to be much better than the first one with the footage that we have seen till now. It currently holds an eyebrow-raising 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It seems that it will be much better than the previous one. Release Date – August 18, 2017

Bumblebee

Well, the recent installment of the Transformers franchise was pretty bad. Even though it did quite well on Box-office, it still lacked the critical acclaim. Well, people seem to be bored of the cliché Transformers movie and it is good that the makers are trying to do something very different with the franchise, i.e. bringing a solo spin-off movie by bringing in our favorite Autobot, Bumblebee, and our favorite wrestler, John Cena in a movie together. Release date: December 13, 2018

Flatliners

It’s been written by Ben Ripley, who scripted the excellent 2011 sci-fi thriller Source Code. Also, Ellen Page and Diego Luna are among the cast, and the fact that Kiefer Sutherland’s reprising his role from the original movie at least provides some hope that the film has a few clever twists and links to what came before. It is going to hit the theatres on September 28, 2017.

Death Wish

There are actually quite a few promising aspects to this film, namely that Eli Roth is an interesting director to tackle this kind of material, and it’s being written by Roth alongside Joe Carnahan (Narc, The Grey), who certainly has a distinctive creative voice. Along with that, Bruce Willis is going to star in the movie. Release Date- November 22, 2017.

New Mutants

The first upcoming movie in the X-Men franchise is the ‘New Mutants’ movie which will be very good as Fox has been surprising us with experimented movies like Deadpool and Logan which were probably the best movies in the entire franchise. It seems like Fox has now found its niche in bringing new stories rather than the same old X-Men stories. It is going to come out on April 13, 2018.

The Nun

Releasing on July 13, 2018, The Nun is probably the most anticipated movie in the Horror genre considering the impact the character had in the 2016’s hit The Conjuring 2. The character was so effective in striving fear in our hearts that it actually leads to a solo movie centering the Nun.

Tom Raider

The reboot of the hit franchise of Anjalina Jolie’s Lara Croft looks pretty good. Even though the actress cast in the role of Lara Croft is not as big as Angelina Jolie, it still seems that the movie would do quite well with the reports that have hit the internet till now.

Shazam

DC has now got the proper Kick-start it needed and seems to be doing some serious work on the upcoming future installments. One of those is Shazam. Director David Sandberg has promised that the movie will be the most “Light-hearted movie of the DCEU” and with Geoff Johns overlooking the project, it is no surprise that what the director says will be true. Release Date- April 5, 2019.

Justice League

movies

Wonder Woman has just given the platform the DCEU required. As Wonder Woman was so good and with what we have seen of the Justice League movie in the trailers, it seems that it is going to create history no-matter whatever problems it has faced while being made. It was initially helmed by Zack Snyder but as he had to leave the project before it ended, it was taken over by Joss Whedon, who had directed the Marvel’s Avengers which did insanely well.
