Ever Since Vision had made his first Appearance in the MCU, people have been speculating that he is the one who will surely die as Thanos and his children, the Black Order take the Mind Stone for completing the full set of Stones on the Infinity Gauntlet.
The Mind Stone had been Studded in his forehead since the day he was born in the age of Ultron.
So according to everyone, the Stone is what gives life to Vision and all the powers he has are because of the Stone only. So, since Thanos, as we all know, will be wielding the Infinity Gauntlet in Infinity War, the question arises that will he survive the Infinity War.
At the D23 Expo, in an interview, Vision actor Paul Bettany along with Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) was asked. He said:
“The Infinity Stone that HE has is going to be taken and it is what keeps him alive?? Thanos is going to take the stone??” to which Bettany answers, “But does it [Infinity Stone] and does he [Thanos]?? We will have to wait and watch the movie to find out.”

Well, this is what is mind boggling that even though Bettany did not confirm it, but still he gave a hint at the vision might still come out alive even without the Mind Stone in him. Considering what Vision is made of, Wakandan Vibranium, Tony’ Artificial intelligence JARVIS and also, Thor’s Magic.
We all know that Scarlett Witch also got her powers with the help of the Mind Stone, so it might be possible that he would survive without the stone.
The Vision might just become weaker without the stone if not fully lifeless, and considering the case with Scarlett Witch, the stone might have already granted permanent Powers to Vision which would work even without the stone. And also, He should survive as a magical powerless Android if all of the above were not true.
It might be possible that Bettany might just be trying to get us off the track, and nothing more or he might be hinting at Vision’s survival. What do you guys think? Tell us in the comments.
