Greatest Crossovers Ever In The History of Comic Books

Crossovers are always fun, be it on the TV shows like in Arrowverse or in films where a Wonder Woman comes to save Batman’s life. They are ever so fun even in comics. Here is a list of the biggest ever crossovers ever in the comic book history:

Death of Superman

JUSTICE LEAGUE 2017-BATMAN-SUPERMAN

Probably the biggest shock of all was when the seemingly unbreakable Superman died. This great arc which truly fits its name was divided into three parts. Here Superman and Doomsday go all out because of the last blow that they strike towards each other, having all their energy they both die. Doomsday is dead, and Superman dies a heroic death in the arms of Lois Lane. The arc ran from 1992-93.

Flashpoint

This 2011 storyline of the Flash has to be the biggest blunder of all of Flash’s blunders. This was nothing but a young Barry Allen, feeling lonely one evening missing his mother, so he goes back in time, prevents her murder from happening which sends ripples across the timeline creating major changes. Changes like Bruce dying and his father becoming Batman, an all out war of the Amazons and the Atlanteans resulting in a global crisis.

Civil War

This amazing storyline on which, not completely though is a film also based. The comic that came on 2007, Civil War is one of the best artworks ever. Just to give you a glimpse of what happens in this storyline after some Avengers are assassinated and the govt. rules in a program to have a list of all superheroes’ identities, it is Tony Stark who becomes the govt.’s, tyrant. Spider-Man is unmasked on T.V. and Captain America dies. Pretty intense if you ask us.

Crisis On Infinite Earths

Crossovers

This undoubtedly has to be the greatest crossover arc in the comic books ever. Here in with great events and big deaths of characters such as Barry Allen and Supergirl DC marked 50 years of their existence, making the Golden Age superheroes fight alongside the modern day ones.
