What Is The Link Between Thor Ragnarok & Guardians of The Galaxy?

The upcoming Thor: Ragnarok (3rd movie in Thor trilogy) has wrapped up production a week ago and is now in the post-production & editing stage. The director of the movie sent out a video which comprises of many things, but one particular thing which stood out is an image of the helmet which suggests the possibility of a celestial, also the GOTG Vol. 1 featured a celestial. The speculation is rife that we may see a group of celestials (they are powerful next to Galactus in the cosmic universe) in Avengers Infinity War and GOTG Vol. 2 who may serve as a precursor before we actually see Thanos.

The movie is inspired by Jack Kirby’s Ragnarok comic wherein Asgard is burned to the ground and rebuilt from the ashes. Thor will confront an empowered Loki (who is now ruling Asgard under the mask of Odin) and Hela forces and he has to defeat them to pave the way for the rebirth of Asgardian society. The studio decided to add two more villains – Surtur (a giant fiery monster who can do trans-dimensional teleportation, magic, and molecular manipulation) and Fenris Wolf (son of Loki foretold to kill God Odin).
