Deadpool has been given the Merc with a Mouth for a reason. The hero has been infamous for his dry sense of humor with the profanities richly intact of course. The Deadpool movie released by 20th Century Fox has also taken riffs on typical superhero cliches, making fun of everything the genre stands for and even the actor playing the hero Wade Wilson. So it was no surprise that the film got slapped an R rating by the Motion Picture Association of America due to “strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity.”
And the movie had strong language indeed. Funny, lewd and just downright dirty words to come out of anyone’s mouth. Youtube channel Insider Reviews created a two-minute video to emphasize every foul F****and every S*** that was featured in the movie.Fans have also agreed that one of the best phrases of the movies comes Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The X-Men member refers to Wade Wilson as ‘Douchehepool,’ a name which has stuck to the character.
The Youtube channel may be the first to make a cut of Deadpool’s strong language but they are not the first. KidsInMind analyzed the film and exceeded the site’s Profanity rating at 10 while Violence/Gore tied with Sex/Nudity at 8. You can check out their rundown for profanity below:
