Well, Hollywood is full of weird and whack myths. Along with the glitzy glamor and fascinating stories, there are plenty of movie myths that revolve around the industry. Well, it needs a credible source to confirm whether any of the stories is actually true or filled with myths. We bring you five movies which were blown along in the same wind.

1. The Wizard of Oz Suicide

The musical comedy-drama fantasy film was a great success. The film is based on the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. With the stories of munchkins destroying the castles and throwing large parties, there are rumours that one of them committed suicide over a love affair. In one of the scenes, it showed a body hanging from the tree. Well, it turned it was a large crane which was used to give a realistic look to the scene. The original cast debunked this myth.

2. Three Men and A Baby Ghost

Well, the myth about a ghost on the set of the film was another fake fact. The movies had a death-filled rumour just like The Wizard of Oz. In one of the scenes, it was claimed that there was a ghost of a boy standing in the window. Well, it turned out that the boy ghost was not real, it was a stand of the film star Ted Danson. It was also rumoured that a boy was killed in the apartment where the movie was shot.

One of the rumours that topped the list was an image of topless women reportedly appearing in one of the scenes in the movie. And it was so fast to be recognised. Well, according to the Disney, the image was inserted into two frames during the original post-production. Well, it was not included in the original outcome of the film.

4. The Exorcist Curse

According to the Cheat Sheet, there were several rumours of deaths revolving around the 1973 classic. During its release, some sinister events affected the movie’s production. It was rumoured that nine people reportedly died during the making of the film. Moreover, the movie’s caught fire when no was there around. Well, most of the events were completely made up.

5. The Poltergeist Curse

The Poltergeist film series was rumoured to have plagued by the curses, and especially affected its stars. As per the speculation four of its actors: Dominique Dunne, Julian Beck, Will Sampson, and Heather O’Rourke, dies during the run of the trilogy.
