Avengers Infinity War Movies to be Re-titled: Here’s what we Know

For all the Avenger fans (including me!), we can look forward to the launch of the biggest storyline being released by Marvel, with this two-part movie Avengers 3, continued to Avengers 4. However, the titles for both the movies are yet to be confirmed, Marvel is still looking around for a suitable title.

Way back in October 2014, Kevin Feige president of Marvel studio apparently, announced that the original title Avengers: Infinity War I and Infinity War II were a “misleading“ for this two part movie. Same was confirmed during the promotion of Captain America: Civil War by the directors Joe & Anthony Russo. As stated by Joe:

The movies are two very different movies. The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it…we will retitle them.”

So far the plot of the movie has not been disclosed, but we are assuming that the storyline would revolve around the comic book The Infinity Gauntlet, The Infinity Wars, and The Infinity Crusade. Also, Infinity Crusade is essentially a sequel of the events from The Gauntlet and War. So what remains to be seen is the final title for this Infinity story. If our guesses are correct, Infinity I would mostly comprise of The Gauntlet and Wars. And Infinity II would all be about The Crusades.

Also, both the movies would have some of the biggest and the most intense of violence we have seen so far with the unleashing of the biggest villain in the galaxy Thanos in Avengers 3 and 4. We might get to see as many as 67 characters featured in both the movies. The writers further went on to confirm that Guardians of the Galaxy will be featured in the upcoming Avengers movies, now there’s something to look forward to.

This two-part movie is all set to take off in November. It would be a back to back shoot for both these movies, with expected completion in nine months. The script of this two-part movie is written by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus, who wrote all three Captain America movies, and wrote the script for both new Avengers movies.

Well, all we need to do is wait and watch the final selection of the movie of the century. We sure are hoping it would be as big as it promises to be.
