Legends of Tomorrow is turning out to be a blockbuster TV series, adding to the superhero line-up of CW network. The most amazing thing about the show which distinguishes it from Arrow and Flash is the enormous scope of experimentation and possibilities of going into uncharted territory. It is possible because of two reasons – time-travel and a team comprising of enriching characters from Arrow and Flash each with their own motivations and agendas.
So on one day, Team Hunter is battling Vandal Savage at the peak of cold war between Soviet Union and US, and on the other they are stranded in future Star city which is ruled by Slade Wilson’s son. Well, it’s time to bring back another super-villain and its none other than Ra’s Al Ghul played by Matt Nable on Arrow. He was the big villain on Arrow season 3 who had diabolical plans to destroy Starling city, according to him, it’s beyond saving and there is a need to restore new order. But in the end, Arrow killed him in a one-to-one combat.
In season 4, Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E is the super-villain intend to cleanse the city of its sins and give birth to a new civilization. In one of the initial episodes, we saw a glimpse of Damien Darhk at Vandal Savage’s auctioning facility. Also, recently Connor Hawke and One-armed Oliver Queen showed up in Legends of Tomorrow in Star city 2046, so it’s not the first time that a major character of Arrow is appearing in Legends. Will it work? Will it cause bump in TRP’S? I guess time will tell….
