The show-makers of Game of Thrones released a promotional image of Season 6 premiering in the month of April next year, and fans are totally freaking out over it. Guess what….the picture shows Jon Snow’s blood soaked face. If there is an Oscar for the best teaser image, it should surely go to this one. Jon Snow, the bastard child of Stark (waiting for confirmation of R+L=J) and the Lord Commander of the Knight’s Watch, hovering between being dead or alive. He was repeatedly stabbed by his own men in a brutal mutiny, as they had lost faith in his leadership.
Jon Snow fans have fought with the naysayers for months claiming that he is alive and will come back from the dead, if that happens, there are two likely scenarios, either he would be resurrected by Melisandre and he becomes Azor Ahai and fulfill a prophecy or he will return in the form of a wolf as he possessed powerful warging capabilities. Moreover, he was spotted in a costume on Game of Thrones Season 6 sets in Belfast, which created ripples across the fan-base.
Game of Thrones swept the Emmy awards and won the Outstanding Drama Series award for the first time.
