4 Reasons Why Agents of Shield Season 3 is Off to a Great Start

The Marvel’s Agents of Shield TV series has entered into its third season, and it continues to be thrilling and suspenseful right off the bat. The show-creators have decided to further push the envelope and venture into new, exciting territories. The first episode began with a high-octane action sequence which set the tone and pace for the rest of the season. It is clearly inspired from Secret warriors storyline of Marvel comics. Here are 4 reasons why you should be super excited to watch the entire third season of Marvel’s Agents of Shield:

Terrigen Bomb plot:

Black Bolt set off a Terrigen bomb which released a chemical compound into the planet’s ecosystem, which got mixed with human DNA and altered the molecular structure, resulting in creation of a whole lot of inhumans.

Team Coulson vs Blackops Unit:

In order to contain alien threats on earth, the US government decided to set up a task force called Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU), to combat and neutralize in-humans. Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Rosaline (Constance Zimmer) shared great onscreen chemistry standing at the opposite ends. In season 3 again, S.H.I.E.LD and US government will have an antagonistic relationship with each other.

Lash is the Big Baddie:

Lash is going to be the “Big Baddie” atleast for first half of the show. He is shown to be hunting inhumans after terrigen bomb was set off. Finally, he confronted Daisy and Lincoln in the hospital.

Simmons is Alive:

In the last episode of Season 2, it was shown that Simmons was swallowed by Black Obelisk and there was no trace of her left. Fitz is going crazy, went to Morocco to find a secret to an ancient monolith which may provide a lead to her disappearance, but all went in vain. In the last scene, Simmons was shown to be alive in a mysterious place, probably on the other side of the universe.
