5 Villains MCU’s Spider-Man Should Definitely Fight

As Spider-Man enters a new age with MCU, he opens a whole new door to possibilities. Here are five villains that he should definitely fight in the many movies to come with Marvel:

Kingpin

Although Kingpin has been featured in Netflix’s Daredevil, that does not mean he has no love lost for spider-Man. The villain had made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #50. The mobster always hated the webbed slinger for fouling his plans. Given Marvel’s affinity to interlink their projects, it would be quite interesting to see Spider-Man and Daredevil teaming up together to put Kingpin to justice.

Scorpion

Mac Gargan was a private investigator who was hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker managed to get great pictures of the hero. When Spidey slips through his grasp more times than he could count, Gargan turned to science to get rid of the hero. He also donned a green scorpion suit which ironically drove him mad. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko have claimed the scorpion was a natural enemy of the spider, but would the same be said for an onscreen Spider-Man and Scorpion.

Mysterio

Mysterio aka Quentin Beck is a master of illusion and trickery. Beck was a special-effects wizard working in the movies but he realized he could make more money robbing banks. The villain may be one of the more complicated Spider-Man villains, so his life story would be an interesting storyline for Spider-Man.And to see what Marvel does with that giant helmet would quench a curiosity.

Kraven The Hunter

Spider-Man

Kraven is a master game hunter who had his eyes set on a giant Spider hunt. With Kraven as the villain, the movie could turn out to be a suspense thriller. The clash between predator and prey would make for an interesting concept, especially with the superhero element thrown in.

Carnage

Villains

When the alien symbiote took on host Cletus Kasady, the two organisms merged to create Venom. Unlike Venom, he has no qualms or apologies for his psychotic behavior. Cletus was already an insane murderer who turned into a more dangerously insane murderer. A face-off between the two on screen could also result in the appearance of Venom, another victim of the alien symbiote.
