‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Villain Details Have Been Revealed and It Will Blow Your Mind

MCU’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has just finished shooting in New York, which means that the movie has wrapped production on principal photography. Marvel Studios has not let much out about plot lines although it has said that the new movie will be based in Brooklyn and will focus on the teenage life of Peter Parker.

Speculations have risen just out of cast listings, especially when it comes to the villains. It has been confirmed that Micheal Keaton will play the supervillain Vulture, and Bokeem Woodbine is set to play Shocker. Another villain who has been suspected to be Nightwatch but now, it seems as though that could just be a speculation.

Schmoes Know reports that the new antagonist will be closer to Peter Parker’s life than other villains:

“This third ‘villain’ is a non-super powered character who butts heads with Peter in his everyday life. He also may be the new someone Aunt May begins dating in the film, a guy that Peter does not approve of. Whether or not the guy is actually bad or its just Peter’s prejudices clouding his judgement remains to be seen. My bets are on a teacher who comes in, trying to fill in the father role he feels is lacking in Peter’s life.”

The site also talks of a surprise appearance “be a surprise appearance from a character that is central to the Spider-Man mythos, one who will play a larger role in upcoming films.”
Logan Marshall Green has been pointed out to be the next antagonist as he will most likely play Aunt May’s (Marisa Tomei) boyfriend. And teenage angst combined with a new male figure could result in so heavy atmosphere at home for Peter Parker. Schmoes Know also speculated that Venom could be the surprise appearance as his last sighting in Spider-Man 3 was considered a fluke by most fans.
