New Eternals Plot Details Leaked:
Marvel’s The Eternals will come out at a time when things related to the Coronavirus will almost be fixed and the theatre chains will probably be running in full flow. The MCU properties will also be in full flow as at least Black Widow and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will have already arrived, if not WandaVision as well. So, after having new MCU content, the fans will certainly be hyped for more. Among all Phase 4 movies, The Eternals has the biggest advantage. It has already been shot and is currently in the post-production stage. The marketing is yet to begin, meaning no spoilers have made their way to the audience like they have for Black Widow. And as we’ve just mentioned, the film would arrive at a time when people would be craving more MCU content.
So far, we don’t have a lot of information about The Eternals. All we know is that the film will dive into the ancient history of the MCU and reveal how & why the Eternals have remained hidden among the humans for so long. We also know that Deviants will also show up, and the creators of the Eternals & Deviants, the Celestials will have a major role to play as well. As for the story, we have absolutely no clue.
But as it is a common norm for the merchandise marketing to leak a few details of the movie. And today, we’ve got some new details about The Eternals through the above Tweet. This is a list of the Funko Pop figures of The Eternals that will go on sale in the coming months. Among the special edition figures will be Ikaris (Richard Madden) in his “London Outfit.” We’ve seen Richard Madden’s onset in the clothes of regular people. With Funko Pop detail, it is good to know that London will be the country where Ikaris will hide in plain sight.
Then there’s a special edition Pop figure of Sersi (Gemma Chan) when she will be in Druig’s (Barry Keoghan) compound. We will also see Lia McHugh’s Sprite Transforming into someone or something into another thing. We can’t possibly know what it is that she will change, but all we can say is that this seems to be in line with her powers from the comics as Sprite has the ability to change the molecular structure of any object available.
Angelina Jolie fans will be excited as her Special Edition Pop will be wielding a different weapon. She is to be seen as a warrior and we do hope that she’d be a part of a lot of fight sequences. So, her wielding different weapons doesn’t really come as a surprise. Although we surely are intrigued to see whether those weapons will hold some special powers as well.
The most interesting part about this tweet is that we get the name of a Celestials who is supposedly going to appear in the film – Arishem. And along with a Celestial, we also get the name of a Deviant – Kro. While the film will focus mostly on the Eternals, the Deviants and Celestials are also supposed to be important parts of the film. According to our theory, the Deviants will seem like the villains of the story, but ultimately it will actually be the Celestials who the Eternals will go up against. The Celestials were the ones who created the Eternals & the Deviants. And it might be due to them that the Eternals & Deviants cannot live in peace, or even intervene with the humans. Let’s see what happens.
