Doctor Strange 2 is going to be one of the most important entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is a lot that has been theorized about the movie and there are even major rumors regarding the appearances in the movie. One of the biggest theories was the detail that Scarlet Witch was going to be the prime antagonist for the movie but now it seems things are far too complicated. But based on the latest trailer we can be quite sure that Wanda will end up mentioning Vision and her interactions with him in the movie. A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness theory suggests that we will get to see White Vision from WandaVision appear in the movie. Let’s have a look at some of the pointers that suggest how White Vision will return:
WandaVision was the very first of the Disney+ shows that we got from the Marvel Studios that are canon to the MCU. The series explored the condition of Wanda as she had gone through various losses throughout the series. This paves the way for some of the craziest moments in a series that we have gotten to see over the years as we see the full potential of her powers. While she creates her own reality where she lives with Vision as her husband, this Vision is only a creation of her powers and it only exists in this reality. But all this was triggered by S.W.O.R.D. which showed her the remains of Vision.
But this wasn’t all as the organization was working on their own version of Vision called White Vision. This version was deployed in Westview to kill Wanda and her version of Vision. Before he could go ahead with his plans Wanda’s Vision restores his memories. Thus, White Vision ends up believing that he is the true Vision and he ends up leaving without any reference to where he could have headed. There were a lot of theories regarding him going to meet her around the end of the series but fans also thought that this could be Strange himself.
White Vision’s Future In The MCU
WandaVision actually managed to set up the future of the arc of White Vision. Created from the parts of Vision by S.W.O.R.D. the Synthezoid managed to acquire his entire memory when Vision used the “Ship of Theseus” thought experiment on him. This allowed them to both realize that neither of them was the true Vision. The Westview Vision was the creation of Wanda’s powers which came from the Mind Stone. Whereas the White Vision was a mare body that didn’t have the soul of the true Vision or bits and pieces of him. One of the major missing factors was the Mind Stone which actually provided him with his emotions and his humanity.
White Vision Will Return
It has been discussed for a very long time since the end of WandaVision that the character will look into means of getting her family back. The very last few seconds of the series saw her character hearing the voice of her kids as she was going through the book of spells. In the latest trailer for Doctor Strange 2, we clearly saw that she had her own plans when it came to the multiverse. This could mean that she might be part of the multiversal chaos as she would go to the different realities in order to find where her twins had managed to survive. In order to do this, she might have to go against Doctor Strange.
Now White Vision might end up having an essential role here as someone who might be able to stop Wanda. He’s coming to stop her could be the very thing that might work out considering Wanda doesn’t have anyone on whom she can rely. Even though this means that White Vision has to be hooked into his emotions and humanity to make this change possible, Wanda might rely on him to have some final hope. Considering the number of characters who are set to appear in the movie, White Vision is a part of the project actually makes sense. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theaters worldwide on May 4.
The above theory does tell us how white vision could return but the suspense still remains, let us know what do you think about it in the comments down.
