A TV Series owes all its success to its fans as they tune in every week dedicatedly to watch the show. These shows have taken the form of a religion, which the fans follow with full devotion. These ten shows have the most loyal and obsessive fans.
#10: Supernatural (2005 – )
Supernatural is one of the best fantasy series of all time and the Winchester brothers are the best thing about the show. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki make absolutely the best team and they made fighting Ghosts, Demons, Angels, Monsters, etc. super fun. The show is ending after the 15th season and the fans cannot be sadder.
#9: Seinfeld (1989 – 1998)
Seinfeld changed the entire landscape of Sit-coms and even the television industry. The show is backed with superb writing and the characters are just amazing. This show paved the way for sitcoms to follow and it still holds weight. Seinfeld still boasts of a large fandom that believes it is the greatest sitcom of all time.
#8: The Sopranos (1999 – 2007)
It is very hard to think of any other show that has writing just like The Sopranos. Everything in this show is excellent – writing, directing, and acting. If you are a fan of the Mafia genre, then this is the best TV show for you. The fans have not forgotten the show yet and the best part is that we will soon see the movie based on the show as well.
#7: Friends (1994 – 2004)
Whenever you think about the characters Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Joey, Ross, and Phoebe, you can do nothing but smile and remember the awesome moment when you first watched the show. You will never forget this show and if you want to start a fight with a random person then just say that Friends is not the best sitcom of all time and Voila!
#6: Firefly (2002 – 2003)
To this day, we still do not know what the hell was Fox thinking when it canceled Firefly. The show does not have a single bad episode and it could have been something even greater. It still has a very large and loyal fanbase. Firefly is one of the best things you will ever find in the sci-fi genre.
#5: Sherlock (2010 – )
Sherlock will hook you from the get-go as it is a perfect depiction of a modern-day Sherlock Holmes. Benedict Cumberbatch was a fantastic choice for Sherlock Holmes, and he was complimented very well by Martin Freeman as Watson. The fans of this show are known to be one of the most loyal ones.
#4: Doctor Who (1963 – 1989) & (2005 – )
Doctor Who is one of the finest sci-fi shows to ever exist. The imagination used in the show is on another level. This show has had a profound impact on the entire sci-fi community. Each Doctor has a different style and thanks to that the show has managed to stay relevant for decades.
#3: Breaking Bad (2008 – 2013)
Breaking Bad is the best TV show ever made, Period. Anyone who has watched the show to its entirety would agree with the statement. The Character Development displayed in this show is just unbelievable. We realize that no other show would ever come close to this show and that is bitter-sweet.
#2: Star Trek: The Original Series (1966 – 1969)
The Fanbase of Star Trek Original Series is so strong that they still believe Leonard Nimoy to be their Spock and William Shatner, their Captain Kirk. The show is full of depth, rich ideas, and an amazing cast. This show started the entire Star Trek phenomena and it is still going strong.
#1: Game of Thrones (2011 – 2019)
The reason you see so many hate posts about the last season of Game of Thrones is because it has the most loyal and passionate fanbase. The fans care about this show more than anything, but we cannot say that about the writers of the show. We will remember this show for the rest of our lives, regardless of the botched ending.
