Avengers: Endgame Theory – Fantastic Four Will Be Introduced Using 5 Year Time Jump

There has been an insane number of theories that have been on the internet for a better part of the last 2 years, and yet we have arrived at one more Avengers: Endgame theory. Endgame did mark an end for a few Avengers and a few story arcs, but it was also the beginning of an even bigger future that is going to follow. Marvel has grown into this magnanimous entity, but it still has room to grow even bigger. The upcoming slate of the MCU goes as long as the next 5 years.

In these 5 years, there will be some new faces along with some familiar ones. Here’s what Feige had to say about the heroes that we will see in the next few years:

Some of these films will feature characters that you already know. Some supporting characters will assume leading roles, while some new characters will be introduced. The reward for all of these films working is that we get to try to do it again and do it differently and learn from our mistakes and try something we haven’t tried before.”

Avengers: Endgame Directors Captain Britain Namor

Rumors have suggested that these new faces that will join the MCU will include the likes of Namor, Black Knight, Nova, Captain Britain, Ms. Marvel, and Adam Warlock. But what the fans have wanted is to get the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the picture as soon as possible. But according to Kevin Feige, it is going to be a while before they join us. It may be after the next 5 years. He told io9:

“It’ll be a while. It’s all just beginning and the five-year plan that we’ve been working on, we were working on before any of that was set. So really it’s much more, for us, less about specifics of when and where [the X-Men & Fantastic Four will appear] right now and more just the comfort factor and how nice it is that they’re home. That they’re all back. But it will be a very long time.”

X-Men MCU Kevin Feige

Considering the fact that the X-Men are ending their reign with Dark Phoenix right now, Marvel will certainly want to bring the Fantastic Four in before the X-Men. That’s also what Kevin Feige has hinted at. But how does that happen? How would Marvel manage to introduce them? The past theories have suggested that the Quantum Realm could become a possible way of giving the members of Fantastic Four their powers. It has been mentioned in the past that the Quantum Realm does have a big role to play in the future so this could be true.

But, the future of Marvel will be heavily based on the events of Avengers: Endgame. So, the Fantastic Four could come in using the Multiverse, just like Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But we’ve got a new theory which suggests that the members of the Fantastic Four already exist in the MCU. There was a 5 year time jump in Marvel, and that could have brought other bright characters.

New Fantastic Four Movie

The likes of Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, Sue Storm and Johnny Storm could already be present in the MCU as normal humans. According to the new theory, they also could have left Earth to inspect the power surge that happened on a nearing planet when Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones. Thanos said that he reduced the stones to Atoms. The Russos confirmed that the Infinity Stones are present as Atoms. So, what if these Fantastic Four members come into contact with these Atoms in space?

Avengers: Endgame Theory Hulk Snap Infinity Stones

These atoms could be the result of them getting their powers. This could work in the MCU as it will be cannon to what happened in Avengers: Endgame, and the Infinity Stones could be brought back to use again with this. For the Fantastic Four to get their powers in this way, the story might not even require them to go and inspect the power surge 5 years later. They could just go on a space mission now, and come in contact with these Atoms.

This is a pretty cool theory so let’s see whether Marvel opts to use it or not.
