The ending of Avengers: Infinity War has given birth to numerous fan theories, speculations and plot points that it’s indeed hard to keep a track of them all. But what we know so far confirms that there will be time travel component in Avengers 4 and the remaining heroes post snap will make every possible effort to undo the catastrophe unleashed by Thanos.
A new theory claims that Tony Stark could be the new BFF of Nebula as they both survived and were the only two survivors on Titan. The post reads:
“After the snappening wasted so many of the people on Titan, Stark and Nebula are the only ones left there. Tony will want to return to earth and ask Nebula to him there. Nebula will demand that Stark help her find and kill Thanos. they will reach an agreement, for passage to Earth, Tony will give her his bleeding edge armor and help integrate into her system. They will part ways after an unknown amount of time traveling through space.”
“Nebula will eventually find Thanos and her character arc will essentially be completed here: Thanos is depressed and lost after getting no satisfaction from his mass genocide. Thanos and Nebula will have some dialogue and fight and Nebula will kill him. No ambiguity, he dies.”
“Stark will return to earth and find that it has in a short time fundamentally changed. Earth won’t be in anarchy, but it will have completely turned against the ‘super-powered’ and also against the likes of Stark Industries and SHIELD. A technological power vacuum will be in effect and Stark might find that he literally has nothing except for a possibly pregnant wife in hiding (just from the public eye) and a few remaining few scattered across the globe”.
“Wakanda will be the hottest topic in the world, with most advanced nations demanding their help, support, and tech. Shuri will likely be the queen of Wakanda and struggle with the right choices to make. I’d also say that Captain America will make a full transition into becoming Nomad and work as a spy for Wakanda.”
Well, there will be some unusual pairings and mysterious plot devices used in Avengers 4. The suspense is indeed killing us all.
“I feel like with Avengers 4, because it was made before there was any response to Avengers 3, it’s really pure in that regard. The storytelling is very pure. It’s without any sort of external noise creeping in at,” Joe Russo told Deadline during SDCC 2018.
He added:
“We’ve been in post-production on [Avengers 4] since the release of Infinity War and we’ve got some additional photography that we’re doing in a month or so.”
“You know, we’re very proud of it. I think ultimately Avengers 4 may be our best work for Marvel. I think we’ve grown with every movie that we’ve made there. We’ve grown with the characters. We’ve grown with the cast. As filmmakers we’re very happy and very excited with the movie.”
“We’ve worked on the edit all summer,” Anthony Russo recently confirmed, “and we’re excited to finally get these missing pieces in the film and then we expect to be in post through the fall and winter.”
